New Bark Town
When you start out, you must first pick out if you want to be a boy or a girl.
After setting the clock and receiving your pokegear, you must visit the Professor's house next door. Don't bother talking to anybody, There is no real information to be learned.
He will talk about pokemon and other things, and then send you on a mission.
You get one of three pokemon on the table next to him. They are, in order: Cyndaquil, fire; Totodile, water; and Chikorita, grass.
After receiving your first pokemon (yay!) and receiving a potion from the assistant, you head west out of town.
(For simplicity, up is north, down is south, left is west, and right is east.)

Route 29
Wild Pokemon: Sentret, Rattata, Pidgey, Hoothoot(Night), Hoppip
Items: Potion, Berry Tree
Route 46 (go through building north of Route 29)
Wild Pokemon: Rattata, Spearow, Hoothoot(Night), Geodude
Items: nothing for now
Train in the grassy areas and use the berries and potions wisely, and remember you can heal anytime with going through very little grass, and you can always run away. If you white out, it really doesn't matter much, at least here.

Cherrygrove City
Items: Map card
The first thing to do in this town is to talk to the old man at the front of the town, after he tells you about some things; he will give you a map card You need this map card later on.
Nobody truly important to talk to in this town. Visit the mart and find out that they're fresh out of pokeballs. But anything that you think you need. Heal your pokemon and then head north up Route 30.

Route 30
Wild Pokemon: Caterpie, Pidgey, Rattata, Hoothoot(night), Spinarak, Weedle, Bellsprout, Ledyba
Items: Pokedex, Mystery Egg, Berry (2), Antidote, Potion, Pokeball
To get to Mr. Pokemon, stick to the left-most tree line, and eventually you'll reach his house. He'll talk for a while, and give you a mystery egg, then Prof. Oak will give you a pokedex.
Once back outside Prof. Elm will call and tell you to come back immediately. You should have your starter at level 10 or so by now because, on your way back ??? will challenge you to a battle. He is your rival and you will see him multiple times throughout the game.
Rival: Lvl. 5 Starter of type-advantage over you. (If you picked Totodile, he has Chikorita; You have Chikoita, he has cyndaquil, you have Cyndaquil, he has Totodile)
Too easy if you're healed and at lvl. 10. Just overpower him using normal attacks.

New Bark Town (2nd time)
Items: 5 poke balls
Go talk to Prof. Elm and name your rival. The assistant then gives you 5 pokeballs.
Now you can catch pokemon and add to your party and pokedex. Go and talk to your mom, and she'll ask to save your money. Do it.
As you leave town, Dude comes out of the grass and asks if you know how to catch pokemon. Say yes, and observe how he does it.
This time through Cherrygrove you can buy more pokeballs. Catch a few, but they all can be caught later in the game as well.
Go through where the big battle was before and you get a big surprise, your first trainer battle. Important because, besides selling items at marts, they are the only way to get money.
Route 30: Wild Pokemon: Same as before
Trainer: Lvl. 4 Rattata
Trainer: Lvl. 4 Rattata, Lvl. 2 Pidgey
Trainer: Lvl. 3 Caterpie x2

Route 31
Wild Pokemon: Caterpie, Bellsprout, Pidgey, Hoppip, Ledyba
Trainer: Lvl. 2 Caterpie x3, Lvl. 3 Weedle

End of Version 1.0
More to come

Violet City
Wild Pokemon: Onix(Trade for Bellsprout) In the first house you see in this city(besides the pokecenter), you can trade your Bellsprout for a hard to catch Onix. Then go to Sprout Tower.
Sprout Tower
Wild Pokemon: Rattata, Gastly(night)
Items: Paralyze Heal, X Accuracy, Potion
Strategy: If you chose Cyndaquil, use it. Chikorita will not be great, but the Bellsprout can’t hurt you much either, but the Hoothoots’ could. Don’t bring totodile in this place, even if he/she is level 12 or above. Catch a Pidgey, train up to Lvl. 9, and it learns Gust. Gust all the Bellsprout, and overpower the Hoothoot. Since grass is weak to Flying, Psychic, and Fire, use Cyndaquil(if you have it), Butterfree(weak to Hoothoot) or Pidgey(good overall)
All the sages up until the top floor have Lvl. 3 Bellsprouts for all their pokemon. On the top floor there are four trainers with the following in order, going north.
Trainer: Lvl. 6 Bellsprout
Trainer: Lvl. 6 Bellsprout
Trainer: Lvl. 7 Bellsprout, Lvl. 7 Hoothoot
Leader: Lvl. 7 Bellsprout x2, Lvl. 10 Hoothoot
Ignore the rival, he doesn't battle you and says nothing interesting.
Your reward is HM 05, Flash. Save it for now, you get to use it later.

Violet City Gym Strategy: Get a Geodude, train it to Lvl. 11, and it learns Rock Throw. This should faint all the birds, which are weak to rock. It isn’t the most accurate, and combined with the accuracy reducing moves they use, you’ll probably faint Geodude once, if you go straight through, but you should always have some backups
Trainer Abe: Lvl. 9 Spearow
Trainer Rod: Lvl. 7 Pidgey x2
Leader Falkner: Lvl. 7 Pidgey, Lvl. 9 Pidgeotto.
He gives you the TM31 Mud-Slap, and the Zephyrbadge Where the (bleep) do you get a Lvl. 9 Pidgeotto. Oh well, on to next topic.
When you leave the Gym, you get a call. Go to the pokecenter in Violet City, and make sure to have an open slot in your party. (If you are using Gameshark, DO NOT use the Gameshark code to hatch the egg early, it don’t work)
Head west to Route 36.

Route 36
Wild Pokemon: Pidgey, Ledyba, Bellsprout
Items: TM Rock Smash (talk to fat guy after clearing Sudowoodo) Well, that’s what he looks like. Sorry.
You will find that a strange tree is blocking the way. Not much to do here. Go south to Ruins of Alph

Ruins of Alph
Solve the first puzzle, but the rest must wait until later. Catch three of the Unown, but if you run out of pokeballs, don’t worry about it. Come back later. After you get the Surf HM in Ecruteak City.
Go east to Route 32

Route 32
Wild Pokemon: Bellsprout, Rattata, Magikarp, Hoppip, Ekans, Tentacool
Items: Miracle Seed, TM Roar(after learned Cut), Ralph’s phone number, Repel, Poison Barb (from Freida of Friday), Old Rod(Guy in Pokecenter), Great Ball
Trainer Albert: Lvl. 6 Rattata, Lvl. 8 Zubat
Trainer Liz: Lvl. 9 Nidoran (F)
Trainer Roland: Lvl. 9 Nidoran (M)
Trainer Henry: Lvl. 8 Poliwag x2
Trainer Justin: Lvl. 5 Magikarp x3, Lvl. 15 Magikarp
Trainer Ralph: Lvl. 10 Goldeen
Trainer Gordon: Lvl. 10 Wooper
Trainer Peter: Lvl. 6 Pidgey x2, Lvl. 8 Spearow

Union Cave(1st time)
Wild Pokemon: Onix, Sandshrew, Geodude, Zubat, Magikarp, Rattata
Items: Potion, Great ball, Potion, TM 39-Swift, X Defend, Awakening
Trainer Daniel: Lvl. 11 Onix
Trainer Russell: Lvl. 4 Geodude, Lvl. 6 Geodude, Lvl. 8 Geodude
Trainer Bill: Lvl. 6 Koffing x2
Trainer Larry: Lvl. 10 Slowpoke
Trainer Ray: Lvl. 9 Vulpix
After exiting the cave, just one more trainer to go until the next town, complete with Pokecenter, Pokemart, and Team Rocket, Prepare for trouble, Make it… (Oooops, sorry, got a little too carried away)
Route 33
Wild Pokemon: Hoppip, Spearow, Geodude, Rattata
Items: Psncureberry
Trainer Anthony: Lvl.10 Geodude, Lvl. 11 Machop

Azalea Town
Items: White Apricorn(Fast Ball) Go heal your pokemon, and find Kurt. He’ll tell you about Team Rocket, and he’ll leave town, to find him head east and go down where to “good Samaritan” was standing and go in Slowpoke Well.
End of Version 1.1
Slowpoke Well(1st time)
Wild Pokemon: Zubat, Rattata
Items: Mail, Super Potion, Lure Ball(from Kurt)
Rocket Grunt: Lvl. 9 Rattata x2
Rocket Grunt: Lvl. 9 Zubat, Lvl. 11 Ekans
Rocket Grunt: Lvl. 9 Zubat x2, Lvl. 7 Rattata
Rocket Grunt: Lvl. 14 Koffing
Strategy: Bring in a Psychic pokemon. Since the only one that you could have so far is Butterfree (Evolve Caterpie at Lvl. 7, Metapod at Lvl. 10) and it learned Confusion at Lvl. 10.
Make sure to evolve it at Lvl. 10 and not stop it until later, Metapod doesn’t learn anything but Harden. I had a Lvl. 16 Butterfree with Sleep Powder and Confusion. Keep those two moves forever, they work great in tandem.
As you leave Azalea you see a familiar face. Yep, it’s your rival back for action. Stupid kid.
Rival: Lvl. 12 Gastly, Lvl. 14 Zubat, Lvl. 16 2nd evolution(Chikorita-Bayleef, Totodile-Croconaw, Cyndaquil-Quilava)starter
Strategy: Butterfree to the rescue (unless he has Quilava)
Put the Gastly and Zubat to sleep and Confusion both, but be careful. Gastly is immune to normal attacks, i.e. Tackle.
Quilava falls to water or ground (Tentacool, Geodude) Bayleef to flying (Pidgey, Spearow), Croconaw to grass, electric.
My team at this point is a Lvl. 15 Pidgey, Lvl. 14 Geodude, Lvl. 17 Totodile, and Lvl. 17 Butterfree. Good balance.
After beating Rocket, heal and head to the gym for a buggy battle.
Trainer Twins: Lvl. 10 Spinarak, Lvl. 10 Ledyba
Trainer Al: Lvl. 12 Caterpie, Lvl. 12 Weedle
Trainer Josh: Lvl. 13 Paras
Trainer Benny: Lvl. 7 Weedle, Lvl. 9 Kakuna, Lvl. 12 Beedrill
Leader Bugsy: Lvl. 14 Metapod, Lvl. 14 Kakuna, Lvl. 16 Scyther As I heard somewhere, if you lose to the Metapod or Kakuna, get rid of the game. Plain and simple. Considering they have no attack power at all. The Scyther, on the other hand has Fury Cutter, which hits harder every time until it misses or is not used. If it gets any momentum going, you’re toast.
Strategy: Use a Spearow or Pidgey with at least one flying move. By this time they should be at Lvl. 15 or higher
You get Hivebadge and TM 49-Fury Cutter. Hivebadge lets you use cut outside of battle, and makes all pokemon up to Lvl. 30 obey you.

Head west into Ilex Forest

Ilex Forest
Wild Pokemon: Farfetch’d (can’t catch this one), Oddish, Psyduck(at night), Caterpie, Exeggcute, Pineco, Weedle, Pidgey, Hoothoot
Items: HM 01-Cut, TM 02-Headbutt, Revive, X Attack, Antidote, Ether
Trainer Wayne: Lvl. 8 Ledyba, Lvl. 10 Paras
Route 34:
Wild Pokemon: Jigglypuff, Drowzee, Ditto, Rattata, Abra, Snubbull, Pidgey
Items: None for now, you’ll come back to this area later.
There is the breeding center here, more on that later. Leave your weakest Pokemon in here, and it will gain levels. 1 exp. Point per step you take.
When you get to the breeding center building, you can get a mystery egg, You can get a Tyrogue, Smoochum or Elekid. Please inform me if there are others
Trainer Samuel: Lvl. 7 Rattata, Lvl. 8 Spearow x2, Lvl. 10 Sandshrew
Trainer Gina: Lvl. 9 Hoppip x2, Lvl. 12 Bulbasaur
Trainer ???: Lvl. 13 Snubbull
Trainer Ian: Lvl. 10 Mankey, Lvl. 12 Diglett
Officer battles only at night, I know he has 2 Growlithes I think Lvl. 12.
Trainer Todd: Lvl. 14 Psyduck
By now the egg you got from the professor’s aide should have hatched, if it somehow hasn’t walk around for awhile, it takes 2,000 steps to hatch this one, and 5,000 for any others.
End of Version 1.2

Goldenrod City
If you played R/B/Y, this is Johto’s Saffron. If you haven’t, this is the largest city you’ll see in Johto. Complete with 7 floor Pokemart, Pokecenter, Radio Tower, Bicycle Shop, and of course Gym.
But the gym must wait.
First, catch an Abra or two outside of town, and then trade it for a Machop on floor 5 of the mart. Train the Machop until it can take on a Lvl. 20 Miltank, the gym leader’s best.
Goldenrod City Gym
Trainer Victoria: Lvl. 9 Sentret, Lvl. 13 Sentret, Lvl. 17 Sentret
Trainer Samantha: Lvl. 16 Meowth x2
Trainer Carrie: Lvl. 18 Snubbull
Trainer Bridget: Lvl. 15 Jigglypuff x3
Leader Whitney: Lvl. 18 Clefairy, Lvl. 20 Miltank
Strategy: It has Rollout, Attract, and Milk Drink, Stomp. Take the Machop you got with Karate Chop, and a Geodude with Magnitude both Lvl. 19 or higher. And you should be fine.
You get Plainbadge and Attract. (Anybody else see that the gym is in the shape of a Clefairy?)
After beating the gym, go to the house next to the gym and talk to Whitney’s mom. She gives you a squirtbottle, after you get her little sister back. She is standing right next to the tree, Sudowudoo.
Go to the bicycle shop, and this time it isn’t $1,000,000.
(Non R/B/Y people, ignore that comment)
Get your bicycle, and find the game corner, do what you want down there. Go train in the Underground Path. Finally, find Bill’s house and get his number.
Underground Path
Trainer Donald: Lvl. 10 Slowpoke x2
Trainer Teru: Lvl. 7 Magnemite x2, Lvl. 9 Magnemite, Lvl. 11 Voltorb
Trainer Isaac: Lvl. 12 Lickitung
Trainer Eric: Lvl. 11 Grimer
After you are done training, head north to Route 35
Route 35
Wild Pokemon: Magikarp, Growlithe, Jigglypuff, Snubbull
Items: TM 04-Rollout
Trainer Kim: Lvl. 15 Vulpix
Trainer Elliot: Lvl. 13 Sandshrew, Lvl. 15 Marill
Trainer Brooke: Lvl. 16 Pikachu
Trainer Ivan: Lvl. 10 Diglett, Lvl. 14 Diglett, Lvl. 10 Zubat
Trainer Walt: Lvl. 11 Magmar, Lvl. 13 Magmar
Trainer Irwin: Lvl. 2 Voltorb, Lvl. 6 Voltorb, Lvl. 10 Voltorb, Lvl. 14 Voltorb
Trainer Arnie: Lvl. 15 Venonat
Trainer Bryan: Lvl. 12 Pidgey, Lvl. 14 Pidgeotto
Officer battles only at night, Lvl. 17 Growlithe, I believe.
Next go into National and do the Bug-Catching Contest if it is Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday. If it isn’t, enter the Park anyway. There are a couple of items and trainers in here.
National Park
Wild Pokemon (Bug Catching Contest: Caterpie, Metapod, Butterfree, Weedle, Kakuna, Beedrill, Scyther, Pinsir, Sunkern, Venonat, others???) Regular: Sunkern, Rattata, Pidgey, Hoothoot(night), Nidoran(M), Nidoran(F)
Items: Quick Claw, Parlyz Heal
Trainer Krise: Lvl. 12 Oddish, Lvl. 15 Cubone
Trainer William: Lvl. 14 Raichu
Trainer Jack: Lvl. 12 Oddish, Lvl. 15 Voltorb
Trainer Beverly: Lvl. 14 Snubbull
Leave National Park through the north entrance/exit and battle two more trainers to find Sudowoodo
Route 36
Wild Pokemon: Pidgey, Growlithe, Hoothoot (night) Items: Ice Berry
Trainer Mark: Lvl. 13 Abra x2, Lvl. 15 Kadabra
Trainer Alan: Lvl. 16 Tangela
Go up to Sudowoodo, and use the squirtbottle. It is at level 20, and not that hard to catch. You probably should catch it, just for the pokedex.
My team right now, Lvl. 20 Croconaw, Lvl. 21 Pidgeotto, Lvl. 21 Butterfree, Lvl. 20 Machop, Lvl. 20 Elekid(Egg), and Lvl. 21 Geodude Route 37
Wild Pokemon: Pidgey, Growlithe, Pidgeotto
Items: Magnet, Red Apricorn, Blue Apricorn, Black Apricorn
Trainer Twins: Lvl. 15 Jigglypuff, Lvl. 16 Clefairy
Trainer Greg: Lvl. 17 Drowzee
Ecruteak City
The first thing to do is to heal. Then go find the Kimono Girls north of the Pokecenter.
They have in order from left to right—Flareon(Fire), Espeon(Psychic), Umbreon(Dark), Vaporeon(Water), Jolteon(Electric).
Use on them in order (Water, Ground); (Dark, Ghost); (Fighting); (Electric, Grass); (Rock, Ground)
Your reward is HM 03-Surf.
After getting surf, go back to the Pokecenter and heal. If you want to go to the Gym, you can, but you’ll find out that the gym leader isn’t there. To get him back in his gym, go to the northwest part of town, and enter the burned tower. There you will see Eusine and eventually your rival(Oh no ?) Wild Pokemon: Rattata, Raticate, Zubat, Koffing, Magmar(rare) Items: (need Rock Smash)???
Rival: Lvl. 20 Haunter, Lvl. 18 Magnemite, Lvl. 22 2nd evolution starter, Lvl. 20 Zubat

Gym
Strategy: Listing strategy first because it is an important fact here. Ghosts are all immune to normal moves. So if the move says normal, unless it is a stat change, it won’t do a thing.
Remember that Butterfree I used earlier? I use it here because it knows Psychic moves (super-effective on Ghost) but Ghost isn’t super-effective on me because Butterfree isn’t part Psychic. (Psychic and Ghost are super-effective on each other)
Trainer Ping: Lvl. 16 Gastly x5
Trainer Grace: Lvl. 20 Haunter x2
Trainer Jeffrey: Lvl. 22 Haunter
Trainer Martha: Lvl. 18 Gastly, Lvl. 20 Gastly, Lvl. 20 Haunter
Leader Morty: Lvl. 21 Gastly, Lvl. 21 Haunter, Lvl. 25 Gengar, Lvl. 23 Haunter
End of Version 1.3
Once I start playing more will come.

After beating Ecruteak City and releasing the legendary dogs, you have a choice of heading east or west. I go east, because that's what I think the direction is that they made the game go. If you want to go west skip to Mahogany Town.
(If you want the legendaries, wait a while. I'll get to a strategy on that later. I know how to, I've caught Suicune and Entei in Gold, and have Raikou and Entei in Silver.)

Trainer Jamie(at night): Lvl. 16 Meowth

Olivine City
Good Job, you made it. This is a large city, with a fairly hard lighthouse, and an even harder gym. But first you must talk to your rival.
He doesn't battle you(Whew), but he tells you that the Gym leader is at the top of the lighthouse. It is the tallest building in town.
But, before you go to the top, you should heal, even if it is to restore the PP of your moves.
You should be getting along fairly good, with a decent pokedex. If you haven't been working on the pokedex, no biggee, but you should do some.
So on with the description.
Wild Pokemon(fishing off the coast): Tentacool, Tentacruel(rare at Lvl. 10/20, but existent), Krabby, and of course, Magikarp(stupid fish)
Items: HM-04 Strength (To get this, go into the last house on your way through Olivine, and before you get to the Battle Tower. Talk to the guy sitting at the table in the center.), Good Rod(in the skinny house below the gym)
If you feel like battling in the battle tower, go ahead, but be warned it is tough. You get random trainers and pokemon, so I can help you
Prizes I have received: 5 Protein(the prizes are good), 5 Iron Lighthouse
Wild Pokemon: None
Items: Ether, Super Repel, Rare Candy, TM 34-Swagger
Trainer Alfred: Lvl. 20 Noctowl
Trainer Huey: Lvl. 18 Poliwag, Lvl. 18 Poliwhirl

My pokemon at this time are Lvl. 27 Butterfree, Lvl. 27, Pidgeotto, Lvl. 27 Graveler, Lvl. 27 Croconaw, Lvl. 27 Machop, Lvl. 41 Raikou
Route 40:(need Surf)

Trainer Elaine: Lvl. 21 Staryu
Route 41:
Same stuff as before

Trainer Charlie: Lvl. 21 Shellder, Lvl. 19 Tentacruel, Lvl. 19 Tentacruel
Trainer Kaylee, Lvl. 18 Goldeen, Lv. 20 Goldeen, Lvl. 20 Seaking
Technically you enter Cianwood City in the water, but the wild pokemon are the same as Route 40, 41.
Cianwood City:
Wild Pokemon: Shuckle(given to you in a house), Krabby, Shuckle(rare) (north of town under boulders)
Items: Secret Potion
Once you get the mysterypotion, the only other thing to do is beat the gym. They use the fighting types, so psychic and flying will do well here. Butterfree and Pidgeotto in other words.
Trainer Yoshi: Lvl. 27 Hitmonlee
Trainer Lao: Lvl. 27 Hitmonchan
Trainer Nob: Lvl. 25 Machop, Lvl. 25 Machoke(watch it, this Machxoke konws Rock Slide, which kills your flyer)
Trainer Lung: Lv. 23 Mankey x2, Lvl. 25 Primeape
Leader Chuck : Lvl. 27 Primeape, Lvl. 30 Poliwrath
Butterfree does well all the way through, but just hope your sleep powder works first time on the Machoke, or your dead.
Pidgeotto will do well too, and use an electric for the Poliwrath, because it still is part water.
After beating the gym, go outside and talk to the lady to get HM 02-Fly. Now your pokemon that knows this can fly to any city that you have been to.
Now fly back to Olivine City and go up to the top of the Lighthouse and give the Secret Potion to Jasmine. It cures Amphy, and she will return to her gym.
She is a hard gym leader, so go train a water, fighter and/or a fire, if you have a fire. Of my team, only the Machop, and the Croconaw will do well here.
Olivine Gym:
Leader Jasmine: Lvl. 30 Magnemite x2, Lvl. 35 Steelix.
Fire, Ground or Fighting on the Magnemite, Water, Fire, Fighting on the Steelix
Once you are done with Jasmine, it is time to head back up to Ecruteak, and go to other way, to Mahogany town.
Route 42: Wild Pokemon: Goldeen, Seaking, Zubat, Raticate, Rattata, Machop, Geodude, Golbat, Ekans, Arbok, Spearow Items: Ultra Ball x2, Nugget, Hyper Potion x2, Revive, Pink Apricorn, Green Apricorn, Yellow Apricorn, Super Potion(use surf/cut to get to Apricorns, Super Potion), Full Restore, Max Ether, PP up, Carbos

Trainer Shane: Lvl. 16 Nidorina, Lvl. 16 Nidorino
Trainer Tully: Lvl. 18 Qwilfish
Trainer Benjamin: Lvl. 14 Diglett, Lvl. 14 Geodude, Lvl. 16 Dugtrio
If you don't feel like going through Mt. Mortar, Surf through the water. Remember, almost all the items are in Mt, Mortar though.
Mahogany Town
The Mart is selling useless items and the gym and the road to the east are being blocked. The only thing left to do is go north to the Lake of Rage.
Route 43
Wild Pokemon: Furret, Raticate, Pidgeotto, Farfetch'd, Sentret, Rattata, Pidgey, Noctowl, Hoothoot, Venonat, Venomoth
Items: Max Ether
Unless you want to pay money, do not enter the second gatehouse halfway up Route 43. It has Team Rocket members in it that charge a 1000 dollars to go through.
Trainer Spencer: Lvl. 17 Sandshrew, Lvl. 17 Sandslash, Lvl. 19 Zubat
Trainer Tiffany: Lvl. 20 Clefairy
Trainer Brent: Lvl. 19 Lickitung

Trainer Ron: Lvl. 19 Nidoking Trainer Ben: Lvl. 19 Slowbro Lake of Rage:
Items: Red Scale(defeat/catch red Gyarados), Full Restore (hidden) (need cut for the following), TM 43-Detect, TM-10-Hidden Power(inside house), Elixer, Rare Candy(hidden) The only thing to do here is fight the red Gyarados. To catch it, use a sleeper, and weaken then throw great/ultra balls at it and hope for the best.
After you beat/catch the red Gyarados, talk to the man in black. He is Lance, and looking for some help. Say you'll help him, and go back to Mahogany's mart. But heal your pokemon, first.
Team Rocket is about to ake their second appearance. Muwahahahaha.
When you enter the mart, you see Lance use his Dragonite to Hyper Beam someone, and then a secret stairwell reveals itself, and you are off to see Team Rocket
When you go down the staircase, you will see a pokemon statue, when you walk in front of it, a Rocket Grunt comes and challenges you, and when you beat him, another one comes.
This happens everytime you go in front of a statue, until you turn off the secret switch.
Intruder Rocket Grunt(1): Lvl. 17 Drowzee, Lvl. 19 Zubat
Intruder Rocket Grunt(2): Lvl. 16 Zubat, Lvl. 17 Grimer, Lvl. 18 Rattata
These two return everytime you go in front of a statue.
To turn off the secret switch, go right until there is an opening in the bottom wall, then go right until another opening appears.
Follow the path and battle the Scientist.

Eventually, I will be creating a link to each pokemon.
Does anybody know where to find Eusine??? Please e-mail me if you do.

Thanks to Fiver344@yahoo.com for some pokemon location areas, corrections, and pokemon additions

If you have notes for my guide, please e-mail me at houndoom_man@yahoo.com.
Make sure that you specify in the Title line (pokemon crystal walkthrough). If you send in information, I'll be sure to give credit where due. Anybody who wants to use my walkthrough, just ask. Usually I'll be glad to share, just ask. PLEASE!!!
If anybody can help me on breeding info or moves that pokemon learn, please help me.
This walkthrough is not complete, DUH!, but I am still playing the game, only for the second time. It will take a few weeks to get it complete, if it does get complete.
When I can get Ruby or Sapphire in English, I am planning on doing one of the first walkthroughs for those as well.
Till' next time
