Club Histort : Ashford Warriors
Football Club was started over some 17 years
ago, back in 1983. Founder manager back in those days was Doug White, not to
get confused with regular STAR player over the years, Doug West ( current
manager ). We Started playing in the Hounslow & District league and the best
league position was runner up back in the 1985-86 season, when Top Scorer
'Ginger' stick man Blackford got 17 Cup & league goals, , STAR man Doug
'Lightning' West actually got 14 cup & league goals in the same season. We
have always played down at Clockhouse Lane in Ashford. A good core of the
team were founder players back in 1983, but we now have a lot of 'younger'
players on our books to keep us there with the top teams!
