Club History
The club was formed in 1997 drawing players mainly from the Ealing area. It has a squad of around 20 players. The team has played at London Sports ground (Boston Manor), Osterley Sports Club, Pitshanger Park and Ealing Central Sports Ground. The club used to play in the Hayes & District Sunday Football League. The team had good success in the Sunday league starting initially in the 3rd Division and getting promoted every season until it reached the Premier division. The team also managed to reach one Cup Final and the semi finals of a County Cup. The team also has a web presence which can be found at http://www.oocities.org/sky_fc/SkyFC.htm

This has further details on the team, squad, pitch, fixtures etc. Season 2000/2001 saw the team reach the league cup final but sadly lose to Bison FC 1-4. Last season was an anti-climax with so much promise failing to materialise. It was bad discipline, attendance & admin that saw the team falter and not ability of the players. The team actually received 6 reds cards last season and countless yellows but this does not tell the full story as the team are not an inherently 'dirty bunch' of players. Step forward the nutters, AKA Mark Loughran & Eldred Rogers, the two angriest men in football. It pains me to say this but the team lost 9 points (= 3 whole games) due to cock-ups. With no one team dominating the top division until late on in the season (Inwood FC) St Johns could have done far better in the league if attendance & availability was better. The management must also take a share of the blame for getting caught out with paperwork and admin.
