Honours : Season 1999 / 2000 - Promoted to division two
History : The club was first formed some 4 years ago by Saty Kambo, Guv, Ian, John & Micheal. Saty, Sunny, Parm and Stuart are all still with us who were part of the original members and playing regulary.
The team started off playing 5-aside football in Reedles Park on Wednesdays and from there, the number of players increased. In our first season, as expected, we didn't perform very well and we all knew that a new approach and new ideas were needed.
The club found a new head-coach who was introduced to us by Guv. Guv was moved to being the 'Chairman'. Duncan, happend to be a X-army football team coach and agreed to join us. He had just left the army and set about the task with alot of energy, enthusiasm and brought with him a very profesional attitude. He bought to us new training methods brought in new faces and built a team which had much more confidence, character and spirit. He provided us with an understanding of the importance of winning, which by half way through the season 1998/99 started to come out in the way the team played.
1999/00 saw a few new faces and a season which nobody at the club will forget. The last 12 league games unbeaten and pipped at the post by 1 point by Hoescht. Still after only conceading 29 goals in 24 games made us the hardest team to beat. Unfortunately our manager 'big Dunk' Horsburgh returned home to Scunthorpe and the team is now currently managed by Chris moore and Alan Brown.!! Duncan is now the director of football and comes to watch us play when possible.
Our aim for season 2000 / 2001 - just win every game as duncan wouuld say. As we stand, the team is un-beaten in the league since Jan 2000, that's 14 league games. Surely a record for the Hounslow & District League.!!!!
