The only part I didn't get pictures of was our raft trip on the second day (didn't want to risk getting the camera wet). We went up the Merced River, stopping along the way to swim. The water was freezing cold, but refreshing on a summer day. The grownup ended up with blisters from rowing, but it was a lot of fun.

![]() | Rock climbing and seeing animals figured prominantly in Leroy's "TO DO" list on the trip. No bears on this trip (maybe that's for the best?). |

![]() We started the next day by driving up to Glacier Point (thousands of feet right above our tent cabin in the valley). I've decided it's impossible to take a bad picture of Half Dome. |

![]() | The next day, we started off with a short bike ride to Happy Isles which features a nature center, and the early part of the Merced River. It had been a while since our last bike outing, so we were very saddle sore. Leroy LOVED the nature center with it's stuffed bears, and other creatures, and kept asking to go back again. Below are more pretty pictures from Happy Isles. |
