House Khepera

Faq's

Q:  Is House Khepera associated with or part of House Kheperu?  A: No.  We have gone out of our way to make sure that people do not confuse the two houses.  If you see information stating that we are part of House Kheperu or associated with them on another website, that is false information and we would love to know about it as I'm sure would House Kheperu!
Q: What is a black list?  A: The black list is a list of names of those in the Otherkin / Vampire Community that have done some pretty vile things such as threaten to do bodily harm to another member within the community or they have committed crimes within the community.  Either way, those that appear on the black list are those who would do harm to you so they are placed there to help keep you safe.
Q: What is Sin Nomine?  A: Sin Nomine is a latin term that means without name.  To be without name is the same as the community turning their back on the person and issuing a type of community death where that person is no longer recognized or talked about within the community.  They are placed there for the same reasons as the black list however those who are issued Sin Nomine are much more dangerous.
Q: Can anyone become a member of House Khepera?  A: No.  Membership into House Khepera is done by two ways, invitation to join the House or asking for membership.  If one asks to join the House, a rigorous application process occurs.
Q: Does House Khepera follow the Black Veil?  A: No.  We believe that the Black Veil was taken from a role playing game called Vampire the Masquerade and therefore find all contained within the Black Veil to be null and void as we are real vampires not role players.
Q: Does House Khepera have a set regime of laws that are followed?  A: Yes.  We have our own Codex.
Q: Why does House Khepera have different titles and ranking structures than other Houses?  A: We firmly believe that individuality is paramount.  We strive to be different than other Houses.  Just as no two people are exactly alike, we believe that no two Houses should be exactly alike.
Q: What does Contemno Lamia, alius quod donor defero advenio una mean?  A: To contempt (Challenge) the vampire, otherkin and donor communities to come together as one.
