Latest News: 27April 2002
The XWF scheduled to open their tour in San Marcos, Texas tonight but due to extremely poor ticket sales, the show was
cancelled. When all the wrestlers had arrived to the arena, only a few dozen tickets for the show
were sold, as there had been no local publicity. The wrestlers, who were paid for the
cancelled show, were under the impression that the rest of the tour may be in trouble as well.
The remaining shows of the XWF tour have been cancelled, due to the sponsor pulling out.
Reportedly, XWF officials are telling its talent that they should know if a television deal will be worked out by the first week of May. The network being brought up most often is Fox Kids. The promotion will not be booking any more house shows until a deal is worked out.
