An Evening of Entertainment-October 27, 1934. A very full program with a selection by the Liederkranz Harmonica Club!
This is, I believe, may be the one and only appearance of this group. I knew Karl Amelang and the very lively Max Krippner but never heard my parents speak of the other members of Harmonica Club. This was followed by
"Meier und Beier" performed by Hermann Stichweh and Walter Otto. There was also a saxophone solo, a Trinklied sung by Arthur. E. Heidrich, another selection by the mixed choir and a performance of "An der Schoenen
Blauen Donau" to wind up the program. This must have been a memorable evening. - Peter |
