Another Liederkranz picnic probably at Magnolia Gardens.

Magnolia Gardens was located just north of I-10 and on the San Jacinto river. Third from left is Mina Schenk
and just behind her is Otto Schenk,her future husband. Next to Mina is Johanna Grabbe whom some members may remember. The man next to Johanna may possibly be Paul Danjus (sp??). According to Minna Schenk he and
George Einfeldt were very active in organizing some of the various plays presented at the old Hall. The man wearing a straw hat with his right arm on a car is Franz Schenk. - Peter |
