Theater-Abend 14 Mai 1938 Apparently this evenings play, Die Kneipp-Kur, was staged in response to "public demand"!! The cast has all of the "regulars" with the
addition of Charles Muench and Otto Kuntscher, the Liederkranz "poet in residence". Mr. Kuntscher would frequently compose and recite verses for different club-related occasions such as the
Christmas program and for several golden wedding celebrations held at the old hall. The comments just below the listing of the cast also suggest that the sets may have been much more elaborate
than usual. Please note that admission for men was 35 cents for admission while women only paid 25 cents! What a bargain! - Peter |
