During this time I was involved in different kinds of land survey field works.

My work tasks varied during the years from customer services to application development. I mainly worked with Meridian Systems' own products, such as :
- ZMAP, mapping application - Kuntiainen, municipal register applicatioon - SAMPO, public register query application build on ArcView - Real estate register applications for sevveral different companies
These application where mostly developed with the windows based :

18.1 - 11.7.1999 Research assistant, Helsinki University of TechnologyAfter that I worked as a research assistant for the Helsinki University of Technology and simultanously made my Master's Thesis. The work was carried out at the Helsinki University of Technology for the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Council (YTV). The work concerned the implementation of map data into the public transport register of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area (JORE).
The work contained:
- The functional specification of the publiic transport register's map interface - Studies regarding available map data - Preparations for the amalgamation of JOREE data and a vector road data set
The work was carried out on with MapInfo and all the needed data management functionality was created with the MapBasic application development language.
1.9.1999 - Planner, Helsinki Metropolitan Area Council (YTV), Transportation DepartmentLately I've continued as a planner for the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Council (YTV) Transportation Department. My main work tasks has been the implementation of map data into the public transport register and the realisation of the map interface.
