Why Toma and Celipa?

Actually, the correct question is: Why not Toma and Celipa?

Why not? I can't answer that without thinking hard, but since Chao-chan is so much smarter than me, you'll have to ask her why not. She'd probably say the same thing as me, though: there is no reason for them to not be together. ^^;;

Besides Totepo, Toma is probably the only guy in the group who would be willing to give Celipa the children she wants with the patience. Bardock clearly does not like his family or children, nor does he seem to be the type of person who would have the patience for the little toddlers. He seems to be the type of person who would let women have children with his blood, but he would not be the fatherly figure. Panboukin, well, I can't really say, but it seems like he lacks patience period.

So why do I say Toma would be the likely person who'd be a perfect father for Celipa's children? Well, if Celipa isn't his lover she is his friend, and Toma cares about his friends to an extent where he is almost not like a Saiya-jin at all! So, if Celipa was his lover/girlfriend/wife, wouldn't that make him be even more caring towards her than his friends? Even if he didn't like children, he would do his absolute best to make sure that Celipa is happy.

Where do we get the information that Celipa even likes kids in the first place? The Daizenshyuu mentioned her liking kids a lot, as did the Jump Anime Comic of the Bardock Special. Plus, if you inference into the Bardock Special, her only line was:

"Now that we've finished with this planet, why don't you go back to Vegetasei and see him?" (Referring to Kakarotto)

Also, Celipa seems to be the type of person who would be looking for a fun time in anything: job, socializing, relationships. Toma is a pretty cheerful person who can have fun with just about anything as long as his friends aren't hurt.

I'll admit it right now: I was a Toma/Celipa fan even before I knew their names. I was a newbie to Dragonball Z, but this picture is what caught my attention and loved those two together ever since:

BARDOCK?

Well, I can't see Bardock and Celipa in a serious relationship. A fling, maybe, or a one-night stand, or perhaps even a teenage relationship gone rotten. But I cannot imagine them in a relationship that works; after all, unless Bardock changes his views on how to raise children, Celipa would not be able to stand Bardock neglecting the family. Folks, unless we are talking alternate universe in which Raditz and Gokuh do not exist, Bardock and Celipa probably won't get together with Toma still alive. ~_^

However, if Toma is dead and Bardock's mate--whoever she may be--is dead, then perhaps the relationship could work. Depending on Celipa's relationship with Bardock's mate, the two of them could be equally depressed or Celipa would feel Bardock's pain and.. well.. never mind. Alternate universe only! (Alternate universes are allowed to have the two out of character depending on where the change starts anyway, so either way, A/U it could work)

Bardock and Toma? Well, for all you yaoi fans, it is a possibility, but for all those who think homosexuality is a sin, then it isn't a possibility at all. Even yaoi fans may disagree, but hey; this is a fairly new idea, methinks, and not very popular. It isn't going to cause controversy anytime soon.

It's not that I don't like Bardock; quite the contrary, I love Bardock. He is my top favorite Dragonball character. But I do know his personality well enough as well as Celipa's that those two would not clash unless some major changes are made. Besides, Celipa is not Gokuh or Raditz's mother! Bardock's real mate is some female Raditz look alike.

PANBOUKIN?

Panboukin and Celipa could have potential, though I only see them as best friends, if not, very good friends. It isn't really a popular thing; doujinshi artists portray Toma and Celipa's potential relationship but not Panboukin and Celipa's, if Panboukin is entered at all!

Hey, I can tolerate those two together better than I can Bardock and Celipa together, let's put it that way. It's either Toma or Panboukin for Celipa to be in a relationship with; many people just like Toma better because of that dead couple scene above and because Toma's, well, more better looking. o_o;; *ducks from Chao-chan*

Panboukin and Toma? I'm sorry; there's laughing in my head.

TOTEPO?

Totepo and Celipa.. well, I can't see it at all. Well, Totepo seems like the oldest in the group by at least twenty years or so and maybe even the fatherly figure for the group. Plus, it doesn't look like he knows how to have fun. I can only see Totepo as the guy that Celipa would talk to for advice or just to spill out her feelings when nobody else would listen--or when she's scared that somebody would listen. That's all.

But... for some reason, Totepo and Toma seems to appeal to me. Don't ask me why; even I don't know. One thing for sure: if anything pops up with those two in a yaoi type thing, expect me to read it to see how it is, but don't expect to fall out of my seat screaming in joy (like I would do for Bardock/Toma or Toma/Celipa).

Eh, don't pay attention to me: I'm just a little insane girl high on orange soda...

But pay attention to me on everybody else! Chao-chan and Suka are with me! I think! Uh...
