With the offseason over and managment trying to figure out what the roster is going to look like for the start of the regular season everything is in a whirlwind for the Devil Rays. After the 2026 season managment went bananas trying to replace Andy Marte, Philip Humber, and Jason Bay, along with trying to improve their dismal bullpen. Even though they finished above .500 once again it was still disappointing to most fans who were thinking playoffs.

Key Losses:  OF Jason Bay, OF Andy Marte, and SP Phillip Humber
Key Acquitions: RP Roberto Trigosso Jr, Mike Maroth, RP Jon Paplebon, and SP/RP Rich Harden

Rookie of the Year Watch

Looking towards 2027 Devil Rays Management has been licking its chops for another stellar prospect to call up for a couple of year now. The wait is over now as the soon of former Major Leaguers Carl Crawford Jr is set to open up the season as the DRays starting CFer and Number 2 hitter. When asked about this CC had one thing to say,"Its time to shine, and who better to hit behind and in front then to OBP machines like LF Marcellus Wallace and 1B Dan Walsh. Its a dream really."
