She studied the cover."You know something.  You resemble the gentleman on the cover very much."
"I was just about to say the same of you.  Resembling the young lady that is,"he replied, almost stumbling over his words.
"I get that all the time.  Can you believe I actually had to pose like that for three days for hours on end just so that cover would be done perfectly?"
"You're the model on the cover of this book?"
"I wanted the reader to get an idea of what they're favorite author looked like without really knowing whom they were looking at."
"You wrote this book?"
"The captain has asked that you return any trays to their upright position and fasten your seatbelts.  We will be taking off shortly,"the flight attendant interrupted their conversation over the intercom.
"Simone De Chanel at your service,"she replied."Actually that's just my pen name.  The last name is  Henderson."
"Kevin Richardson,"he offered.
"Nice to meet you.  So what takes you to the sunny state of Florida?"
"Music."
"Music?" Either she didn't know or she wasn't letting on to it.
"I'm a  musician."
"Ah."
"So what brings you to the sunny state itself?"
"I live there."
"You really do have a way with words."
She couldn't tear her eyes off the emerald orbs that so discreetly surveyed her every move."It took me years to perfect this one book."
"Just this one?"
"The research was excruitiating.  It took me well over a year to write.  My publisher was livid to say the least but it bought him the new house, new car and new woman all in one sweep so he's not so hot tempered anymore when it comes to my books."
"Sounds like it."
They continued conversing until she was met by her friend at the gate.  She was the woman in his dreams and she was very real.   And now she disappeared from his life yet again.
"Was that who I think it was?"her friend Kelly inquired.
"Who?"
"The model from your book."
"No.  He's a musician.  Nice guy."
"He looks like the guy on your book cover but wait a minute!  Oh My God!  You really don't know who that is do you?"
"I have no idea."
"You just started seeing one of his bandmates.  That is Kevin Richardson.  He's one of the Backstreet Boys dear.  Alex would die if he knew you two had met."
That's not all he would do.
Kevin decided he could not lose her now that he knew she was not just a mere figment of his imagination.  He had to at least try.  He cautiously approached the giggling women and interrupted,"Simone?"
She turned around.  There he was again."Kevin right?"
He nodded."Listen,  I just wanted to give you this." He handed her a business card with an adress and phone number on the back."I'll be in town for the next few weeks.  If you're interested give me a call.  I'd like to talk about your book."
"What about my book?"
"You'll have to call to find out,"he responded casually.  He threw his luggage over his shoulder and walked away.
"What was that all about?"Kelly turned to her.
"I don't know."
"You know that Age is gonna kill you if he finds out about this."
"About what?   There's nothing going on here."
"If you say so,"Kelly rolled her eyes disbelievingly.
"There isn't,"Simone protested but she knew Kelly was right.  There was something going on.  It was called destiny.
