"Go home. You saw me, now go."
"Not until you tell me where  you were."
"I'm not telling you.  Now go."
"No Simone,"he said, closing the space between them."Tell me now."
"Have you been drinking?"she spoke; trying to divert his attention and knowing full well he hadn't.
"No.  I've been a good little boy.  You've just pissed me off miss goody two shoes.  Now where were you?" he inquired; trapping her between himself and the wall.
"I went out with my business manager. Now get out of my way,"she stood her ground.
He noted the scent that had mixed with the perfume on hers.  That was no woman's cologne for sure."Who is he?"
"Alex!  Let me go!  I can't breathe here,"she managed.
"Who is he?"he demanded once again.
"Nobody you need to be worrying about.  Please let me go,"she begged.
"If  I don't need to worry about it, why is it necessary to find your satisfaction elsewhere?"
"It was one date Alex and it's over.  Nothing happened.  Now can we just call it a night?"
"Actually I think I'd like to stay."
"You might wanna reconsider,"Kelly advised as she came around the corner.
"Stay out of this."
"Go home.  You've caused enough trouble tonight."
He released Simone."Love you,"he stated and gently placed a kiss on the cheek that had turned at the approach of his lips."Fine.  I'll talk to you later."
He slammed the door reminding her that once they were alone this was far from over.  She slid to the floor in tears. Kelly crouched down in front of her."Are you okay?"she asked as she drew Simone's hands from her now tear stained face.
"Not at the moment,"she sobbed.
"This isn't the first time he's done this is it?"
"It's the first time he's been physical."
"Why do you let him do this to you Simmee?  There are others out there.  Kevin is one of them."
"I know but I'll be lucky if Kevin ever speaks another word to me."
"He will Simmee.  It's all in the timing.  You know I don't believe much in that fate shit but if it's what your heart's telling you, go for it.  You've really got nothing to lose at this point.
"Kel?"
"What hun?"
"Thank you."
"Don't thank me.  Thank God.  He's the one that saved you tonight."
