Chapter 4

He lightly tapped on the door.  Maria opened the door without even a thought as to what she was dressed in.  She'd put on a silk slip and was trying to stay out of the summer's heat of New York City."What a surprise.   I thought everybody was out for the day."
"They are."
"Then what are you doing here?"
"I need to talk to you."
"About?"
"Can I come in and we can talk about it?"
"Sure,"she cleared the entrance for him.  He plopped down onto the massive bed.
"How do you rate?"
"You remember that mountain of a boyfriend I have?"
"Oh yeah."
"So what's on your mind?"
He decided that after nearly two weeks of contemplating this move, he was going to do this."Do you ever feel like you've known someone all your life and you just barely met them?"
"Kinda like us huh?"
"You noticed it too."
"I'm not blind,"she moved closer to him, the vee of her slip seeming to drift lower in his mind.
"So what do you suggest we do about it?"
"We could see if it's just an attraction or if it's a true connection,"he suggested.
"How do you suggest we do that?" she pressed him against the mussed sheet.
"You're starting on the right foot."
"Then how bout I start on the left,"her lips softly pressed against his bare skin.
"What would your boyfriend think about this?"he softly pulled her  over him.
