Um. What was my name again? (back to Lonesailor[HOME])

We've gathered some tips and suggestions for finding that long, lost person. Most of the information roots from various sources and contacts. We'll post some more whenever we get a new lead. If anybody out there in Internet Land knows of any other good places to search for people, please help out by emailletting us know. We'll thank you by posting your name here.

Here We Go

Start your search by finding him/her at the clickmeNavy Log. Now keep in mind that this database, although large, does not contain all personnel that's ever been in the United States Naval Service. It displays those who submit profiles to the clickmeNavy Memorial Foundation and Heritage Center. Additionally, those who have donated to the Foundation are already listed.

If you haven't done so already, they encourage you to submit information about your loved one (or yourself) with a slight summary about his or her experiences in the military. A picture is optional, and a $25-50 fee is required. This includes any and all personnel that's part of the United States Naval Service (Sailors, Marines, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, etc.). It's a good way to commemorate those persons special to you, or to add yourself to a part of history.
