Stared on 3 national championship teams(years 6,8 and 9). Won the heisman trophy in year 8,9. Holds many ACC rushing records. Jake Plummer- Quarterback from Arizona State. Won the national champioship in year 3 and also won the heisman trophy in year 3. One of the best quarterbacks in the history of the Pac-10. Ryan Clement- Quarterback from Miami. Won the heisman in year 4 and the national title. Was runner-up for the heisman trophy in year 5. |
| 2nd Class Brian Schuller- Head coach of 6 national championship teams. Holds the longest winning streak(47). Jamal Lewis- Halfback from Tennessee. Won the heisman trophy in year 6 and 7. First player to win two heisman trophies. Won a national title in year 7. Keith Adams- Linebacker from Clemson. Played only one year but led division 1-A in tackles,sacks and interceptions(year14). Bruce Branch- Wide receiver from Penn State. Won the heisman trophy in year 11,12. He also won national titles in year 11,12. Was the first WR to win a heisman trophy. |
| 3rd Class Justin Garza- Head coach of 5 national championship teams. Won 3 titles at Virginia(years 6,8 and 9), 2 at Penn State(years 11,12). Had a 32 game winning streak at one time. First coach to win 4 straight titles. Yubrenal Isabelle- Inside linebacker from Virginia. Key defensive player for title teams(years6,8). Led division 1-A in sacks and tackles for two years. Got injured his senior year and wasn't the same after. Omar Snow- Wide receiver from Miami. Won a national title in year 13 and the heisman trophy the same year. Had an astonishing 1,000 yard receiving game in year 13. |
| 4th Class Kevin Beard- Wide receiver from Miami. Won heisman trophy in year 21,22. Won national title in year 21. Famous for running what is known as the Beard Play. Jeff Kennedy- Wide receiver from Miami. Won heisman trophy in year 35,36. Won national titles in years 35,36. Famous for running Check Route. Matt Jimenez- Wide receiver from Notre Dame. Won national titles and the heisman trophy in years 32,33. Sultan McCullough- Halfback from USC. Won the heisman trophy in year 17 and national titles in years 14,16. Carson Palmer- Quarterback from USC. Won heisman trophy in years 14,15. First quarterback to win back to back heisman trophies. Won national titles in years 14,16. Went years 15 and 16 without throwing an interception and throwing 120 tds in year 15 and 16. Daryl Fowler- Quarterback from Ohio State(years 22-25). Won 4 straight national champioships. First quarterback to achieve that feat. Second team all-american years 22,23 and 24. First team all-american in year 25. Vincent Young- Quarterback from Texas. Won heisman trophy in year 29 and national titles in year 30,31. Passed for over 13,000 yards and ran for over 5,000 yards in career. Cornelius Slater- Middle linebacker from Miami. Juco who only played one year but led the league with 32 sacks and won defensive player of the year. |
