A few words from our latest recruit:
I am having Cadet Cole Boling present me to my new home. Cadet Boling and his family are the main resource for my being here this evening.

Now would you please allow me to introduce myself…
I am Cadet Airman Basic Mini Lady Liberty.

I, Cadet Liberty was born on September 11, 2001.
Time of birth, was noted as being at 10:01 am; exactly one minute after the South tower collapsed to the ground in New York City after being destroyed by terrorists.
Exactly 24 hours after I was born, I was taken out of ground zero and passed through the hands of some warm, gentle, caring people. They passed me to a remote location were I would soon be reunited with the two people that loved me the most, my Mom and Dad.
My Father was a decorated AFJROTC Cadet and my mother was always by his side to keep his coat clean even if he was able to do it himself. My Father carried the rank of Cadet Colonel and my mother was a cadet herself. She carried the rank of Cadet Captain. I believe you know them, as they are still cadets in this program.

They are Col. Rock and Capt. Stone.

See, all cadet rocks have different last names because there are very few of us. We all receive a different last name to make it seem like there are large groups of us, when in fact, the three that you see before you today are only 3 of 10 in this whole world, so treat us with care.

Now where was I… um… Oh yes.

" I am Cadet Airman Basic Mini Lady Liberty.
I am here to be a symbol of Hope. I am here to help keep up the morale of all young men and women. I stand for many things and I care a lot about this great nation.

Over time, I hope to move up in rank and one day become a great Rock hero like my father is today. Even though my rank is low and I am still small, the Integrity and Honesty I hold in my heart is ever large. So I ask that you welcome me with arms wide open and take the compassion that I feel for the United States of America in my heart and use it as a tool for all of you to become great citizens."

"Thank you, Cadet Airman Basic Mini Lady Liberty"
