Fact or Fiction

Do you have any theories I didn't catch?  Send them here.

   1.  Mark Evans will help Harry defeat Voldemort.

We heard of Mark Evans in book 5. Well Mark in Latin is Mars, and we know Mars is connected to war.  Maybe their connection will make Harry more powerful, or he could save Mark from something like his mother did for him. I dunno, do with it what you like.

    2.  James Potter is alive in Remus Lupin's body.

No one knows what the J. in Remus J. Lupin stands for. We have known him for 3 books now. This means JKR is hiding something, something big. Remus always seems to draw away from Harry when they are near, or he will cut his conversation with Harry short.
Book1: How did Dumbledore get James' cloak? He most likely didn't leave it with him after he got out of school.
Book3: Lupin never stared at Harry's scar when he first met him, he acted as if he already knew him.
Lupin seems to be able to read Harry's mind. Dumbledore seems to be able to do this also, but we know now that it is probably his ability of occlumency. Can Remus do this too? I am not entirely convinced it is only occlumency that cause those two men to read Harry's mind.
Harry tells Lupin about what he sees and hears when a dementor get too near himself. Lupin made "a sudden motion with his arm, as though to grab Harry's shoulder, but thought better of it." Why can't a normal teacher touch Harry's shoulder. Or is it because he doesn't want to be too attached to him and blow his cover.
Trelawney offers to crystal gaze for Lupin. He fled at the idea. We might have thought that this was because of his werewolf problem, but we later learn that ALL the staff   knew about him. So what was he hiding?
Lupin was "both shaken and pleased" at the sight of Harry's patronous at the quidditch game. He was realizing that it was his own animagus, therefore how much Harry missed him.
Lupin entered the room in a "shower of red sparks."
" I certainly don't want Harry dead...""An odd shiver passed over his face." What's wrong with saying you don't want your best mate's kid dead, unless it's really your son your talking about.
Lupin has "no hesitation" in what Harry's father would think.
Okay, so the explanation. James, not knowing whom to trust out of his friends, trusts them all. He 1st chooses Sirius, then Peter, but to confuse enemies even more he trusts Remus. As an extra precaution Remus and James switch bodies, so one parent would always be around. ( Lilly probably did the spell since she was sooo good at charms) "Remus" left leaving "James home with Lilly and Harry. When Voldemort turned up he killed Lilly and Remus in James' body. "James" having no body to switch back into had to stay as a werewolf.

    3.  The power Harry posesses that Voldemort doesn't is TRUST.

Ok at the end of book one on page 298 of the American edition Dumbledore says, "The truth," "It is a beautiful and terrible thing..."  He then says at the end of book five on page 843 of the American edition that Harry has a force in him that is the same force that is in the department of mysteries and that it "is at once more woderful and more terrible than death..."   We see here beautiful and wonderful, and then terrible and terrible.  Could Dumbledore have already told Harry what power he has?  Could it be truth?  Many will say it is love but I think we should consider truth.

    4.   Harry and Neville are connected magically.

In book 5 we find out that Neville could have been the one Voldemort went after instead of Harry. Does this mean they connected somehow? Yes! When did we get the proof? Way back in book3!
When Harry is getting onto the Knight Bus Stan asks him for his name. Harry, not wanting to give his real name says"Neville Longbottom.....stating the first name that came into his head" Why on earth would his mind jump to Neville, why not Ron? JKR must have been foreshadowing that those two boys will end up being more than dorm - mates.

     5.   Luna lives by Ron, we'll see her at the Burrow sometime.

Mr. Diggory was talking to Mr. Weasley about who they might be waiting for. They mention a few names, the Fawcetts and the Lovegoods. Well duh...that means Luna lives near Ron.

     6.   What was with Grindewald if Voldemort was the most feared in 100 years?

If Voldemort was the most feared in a century that would mean about 1892-1992. I am taking this all from the 2nd book obviously. Tom Riddle was 16 then (1992). He was 16 50 years ago. he was preserved in his diary. This brings us to 1942, the year Myrtle died and Hagrid expelled. Well. now this means Tom was born in 1926. Okay?....so what happened to make Voldemort the most feared. Didn't Grindewald (Grindewald was the wizard Dumbledore defeated, he was on the Choc. Frog Cards.) show up around 1945? What happened to the years 1892-1925? Does this mean that there was a prophecy made about Voldemort, causing people to fear him before he was even born? Maybe they didn't know exactly who it would be, but they feared the sorcerer who would try to destroy their world?

    7.   Hagrid got Hedwig from Dumbledore.

Hagrid got one smart owl there. The only snowy owl. It never says in book1 that Harry picked out Hedwig. Hedwig is very good at finding people when she doesn't know where they are. Does this mean that she is extremely smart, or does she stop somewhere to get directions. Hagrid was told by Dumbledore to get Harry Hedwig specifically. Hedwig must report to Dumbledore first, this lets Dumbledore know if Harry is continuously okay, or if Harry needs to find someone, Dumbledore helps Hedwig. She is definantly one smart owl. Even Sirius comments on her intelligence.

    8.  Were James and Lilly's bodies ever found? Maybe they aren't completely dead.

Why hasn't anyone told Harry where his parents are buried? It seems to me that by his 5th year someone would have let him go visit the gravesite so he can say goodbye. No where does it say that his parents bodies were ever recovered. Hagrid never once says that he saw the bodies of James and Lilly. He mentions them being dead but never seeing them. So, did they really die?

    9.   Dumbledore's scar.

Dumbledore mentions in book1 a scar on his knee. It looks exactly like the muggle underground he says. Where did Dumbledore get that scar from, is it another curse scar like Harry's, but just a different curse.

    10.   Neville is the way he is because of a memory charm.

When Crouch put on Bertha Jorkins' memory charm his son said that her brain was permanently messed up. Why can't this be the same for Neville. Neville mentions seeing his granddad die. Is this why he had a memory charm placed on him, it might not have been a strong curse, but if he was small, it would have affected him worse. This would explain why he is so forgetful. Let's just hope no one has to break his memory charm. We don't want Neville harmed like Bertha's mind was.

    11.   Mr. Weasley will be the next minister.

Whenever Ron jokes he is right. He jokes about his dad becoming minister. Now it's just a matter of time.  If you look in book 4 Ron and Harry are joking about their first monthly predictions..he ends up kidding about everything that happens that year.   Also if you look around in all the book there are too many places to cite, whenever Ron is joking around about something it turns out to be true or really happen.  (More info. coming)

    12.   Dumbledore is an animagus. He is a coackaroach.

Ok Dumbledore may like his passwords to be candies found at a shop in Hogsmead, but "Cockaroach Clusters"?  In the fourth book this was his password.   Also through out the books all four of them there are tons of cockaraoch references.  J.K. is a smart lady and is giving you a huge clue.  One of the rules to follow when trying to find her well hidden clues is this (IF SHE RE-ENFORCES IT SHE MEANS IT!). Dumbledore himself tells Harry" I have watched you in ways you can't even imagine" Dumbledore always seems to know what happened, because he was there! Moments after any bit of trouble Harry might have encountered at Hogwarts Dumbledore is there.
