His role range has from heartless villain to sweet, sensitive friend.
EWAN McGREGOR (Star Wars: The Phantom Menace) has been called from Chris Columbus to play Lupin, the best DADA teacher who also happens to turn into a wolfman, according to Countingdown.com. (This also could mean that Columbus will hang out in the UK a third year and direct Azkaban; that is, if all this is true.) Ewan Gordon McGregor was born 31 March 1971 in Crieff, Perthshire, Scotland. By far, McGregor's largest role is as young Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars "prequels": Attack of the Clones appears in spring 2002. Other McGregor films include Moulin Rouge, Brassed Off, Pillow Book, Little Voice, Nightwatch and A Life Less Ordinary. The HP crew is apparently checking McGregor's schedule, which includes a biographic film about the author James Joyce, and work on the third Star Wars movie (Episode III).
