Ever since the early age of 3, Emma has loved to act. It became clear to all who knew her that she had what it takes to go far as an actor. Dispite this Emma only ever managed to act in two school plays, one where she co-stared playing Morgan La Fay in Arthur: The Young Years and then in the lead role of The Happy Prince.
At the age of seven young Emma Watson also Emma won top prize for poetry recital in her school's Daisy Pratt Poetry Competition.
At the still young age of 10 Emma Watson was asked by her school principle to take part in the auditions for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone along with several of her friends and classmates. At first Emma did not take this seriously but after being called back a second time thing began to take on a whole new look to Emma.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is the first time Emma has done any professtional acting. She was up against thousands of other young girls for the part of Hermione Granger and never expected to get the part.
Outside of acting, Emma is a normal 11-year-old girl. She loves to play hockey mostly but also plays tennis, sculling and rounders for her school. Emma also loves debating but most of all, she loves her two cats, Bubbles & Domino.
