Quidditch is the most popular and widespread sport in the whole Wizarding World!

The Players in The Game!

The Three Chasers
Throw the Quaffle to each other and try to through it through the goal post to score.

The Keeper
Flies around the goals trying to stop the opposing team from scoring.

The Two Beaters
Equipped with large clubs, these players zoom after the bludgers trying to knock them toward the opposing team.

The Seeker
The Seeker is usually the smallest, nimblest player on the team. They ride around between all the chaos looking for the Snitch. In addition to the game ending when it is caught, the team that caught it earns an additional 150 points.

The Objects!

The Quaffle is used for scoring. It can be thrown through any one of the 6 goalposts for 10 points.
The two Bludger's are Big, heavy balls that rocket around trying to knock players off their brooms.
The Golden Snitch is Very fast and hard to see, the Snitch is the most important ball in the game. The game only ends when the Snitch is caught.
The Goal Posts- Six in all, these fifty foot-high structures are the main way of scoring in Quidditch. Each time a Quaffle is thrown through one of the hoops, ten pioints is earned. There are three on each end of the field, gouarded by the team Keeper.
The Clubs-The Beaters use these large, heavy clubs to knock the Bludgers toward enemy players
The Broom- Players ride around on these, as all the action takes place 10-120 feet in the air.
The current top-of-the-line model is the Firebolt, closely followed by the Nimbus 2001. Other models inclube Cleensweep 7s and Nimbus 2000s.
