My computer is fixed! YAH!!! Well I just like got on ten minutes ago and tryed to update my site but I got like a BURST of IM's and I never had a chance to get in and I finally am and my mom says I G2 get off! Argh! I wanted to add some Daily Prophet Issues and news! :-( I guess I will do that tomorrow. OMG SCHOOL STARTS IN 2 DAYS! YIKES!!! That means I wont be able to update my site every day ::sniff sniff:: Oh well ::sigh:: I might be able to get a few things done in on weekdays but probobly more on weekends if I dont have plans. Well I guess I should just put that out there for you guys to know about. Well, um... I can't really add anything now since I have to get off (ARGH!!!!!!) oH Well I will just read prisoner of Azkaban Im half done and want to finish it b4 school starts then Im gonna read goblet of fire. My Computer is messed up. Its all like 3 times the size it usually is and the icons and everything are huge! My friend says its on "Safe Mode" but she doesnt know how to get if off but her bro does. He is at work and wont be back till 6:30 and she is gonna give me a jungle when he gets back. Well, Im like mad because its so hard to work on the computer with everything so big so Im going to get off the computer. I decided only to put a few interesting facts about Emma and Rupert on here.

FACTS OF EMMA AND RUPERT Interesting information on Emma Watson (Hermione) and Rupert Grint (Ron):

Rupert Grint (born Aug. 24, 1988 in London, England) played Ron, Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson (born April 15, 1990 in Oxfordshire, England) played Hermione Granger. "Potter" was Emma's and Rupert's film debut.

Rupert loved the Harry Potter books so much that he decided to audition (he performed a self-written rap that promoted himself in the role of Ron), and got the part.

Emma won first place in a Daisy Pratt poetry competition when she was seven, did school plays ("Arthur: The Young Years," "The Happy Prince"), loves hockey and debating, is actually blonde but dyed her hair red for the role of Hermione. Both of her parents are lawyers.

Rupert has since appeared in Paul Hewitt's "Thunderpants," with Simon Callow. Prior to "Potter," Emma had appeared in Bill Cosby's "Kids Say the Darndest Things" in 1998.

Hey guys. I just found out that I have Bronchitis so I have to stay home all day and rest which stinks because I was planning on going to the beach with some of my friends PLUS school starts in 6 days so I need to get better fast. Well, anyway I found this cute picture of Rupert Grint (I luv him! hehe)--->

COS TRAILOR NUMBER 2 NOT OUT ON WEDNESDAY

There's been some speculation that a new trailer for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets would be playing with Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams in theaters starting this Wednesday.

Warner Bros. tell us this is not so. The original teaser trailer, which you've probably seen already, will be playing with Spy Kids instead. It's the same teaser that hit theaters with Scooby-Doo...

The new trailer, reportedly shown at the San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend, featured the Weasleys' house, the basilisk, the flying car, and more.

A bit disappointing, definitely (it's 4-minutes man!), but I'd say WB will release it sometime in September or October...

YOUR VERY OWN NUMBUS 2000?

Kids may still be using their family's bathrobes and broomsticks to play at Hogwarts lessons and quidditch games, but expect a flood of Harry Potter merchandise after the film is released. Warner Brothers is also reported to be looking into designing a Harry Potter theme park.

If the enthusiasm of Harry fans is any barometer, Harry Potter loot will be an international sensation. The books have been so wildly popular that in England new volumes are not released until the school day ends, in order to cut down on devoted readers playing hooky. Meanwhile, the British publisher is issuing the books with new covers designed to appeal specifically to adults.

Ok have any of you noticed how much news I am posting? I mean a don't post half as much as I could because it would take so long to read. But I want a website with the latest and ALL the news you can get! So I have decided to post some news on the main page but then have more news pages. I am thinking aboout having to break the three news into three categories: "The Daily Prohet which will be news in the wizardring world (Make believe but still interesting), Movie News (News about the movie,past movie, and the upcoming film(s)), and Book News (News about the books and J.K. Rowling). So do you think thats a good idea? I have decided to sign off with a little name thingie that will look like this---->

First is my name meaning how I posted the news than the @ is to click it to email me, the AIM is to IM me (if I am online), the M stands for "Movie News:, the B stands for "Book News", and the DP stands for "The Daily Prophet news". I f you have noticed that I updated the site I probobly updated those news sections also. I hope you all understand this now. Also, If you notice when you go to the page how much stuff there is well to organize it I wrote in CAPS the title of whatever the news is like a usually do on this main page. Since it is just so long I might end up having links to the articles since its so crazy on the pages. But right now I am busy and can't do that. I have a ton of article ideas for the Daily Prophet (Wizard News. Fake.) and I hope to add a new one or two each day! Well, I believe that is all I have for now. Maybe I can update later today. I really want to work on "Potter Interactive" so Brittney's site is completed for her but I can't this minute be I am going to try to do so later today because I want you guys to come and check it out. Well thats all for now.

Ok I got some news today but first I found the Harry Potter Movie calender for next year 2003. I am so going to get this (I probobly will get it for Christmas because I got the other one last year) But here is the cover its really cool...

2ND COS TRAILOR OUT THIS FRIDAY
I recently found out that the Harry Potter and Chamber of Secrets will be having another trailor out for the movie "Spy Kids 2", which is releasing this friday. I even heard a rumor that it is 4 minutes long! Well, I dont think I will ever find out because I am probobly not going to see that movie. But if anyone does see the trailor please let me know how it was.

POA(Prisoner of Azkaban) RELEASE DATE
In an article about Alfonso Cuarón on the HarryPotter.com website, it states:
"...Production is scheduled to begin in England in the first quarter of 2003 for a summer 2004 release.

Voices Breaking
Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has revealed how both he and co-star Daniel Radcliffe are growing up-their voices have broken.

He admitted: "My voice is a lot lower than it was in the last film."

Rupert, 13, who plays Ron Weasley in the film series, says that his own voice started changing at the start of shooting the latest movie, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

He said: "It's strange. Dan's has broken completely. But they had decided that they were going to break it in the film anyway, so it hasn't been a problem with the producers."

Rupert is back on screens this month in new kids' movie Thunderpants, in which he plays a young boffin Alan A. Allen. The movie features cameos from Leslie Phillips and Stephen Fry.

The young actor is becoming a big star, and is even receiving his own fan mail. He said: "I get lots of letters from girls and it feels really weird, but it's funny as well."

HARRY POTTER FIRM HIT BY BICROSOFT EXIT

Computer games firm Argonaut has had its new-found grip on profitability tested by a break-up with software giant Microsoft.
Microsoft has withdrawn from a joint project to develop a title for its Xbox console, over concerns about a "lack of design clarity", Argonaut said.

"The key problem with this project was the lack of a shared vision," an Argonaut statement said.
An Argonaut spokeswoman added: "When you get creative teams working together conflict often happens."
The collapse of the deal, aimed to produce a game ready for release early next year, will have a "moderate impact" on Argonaut's results for the year to the end of July, Thursday's briefing said.

Discount boost

But the games company, which entered profitability in the six months to January, denied it had plunged back into the red.
"It's been a profitable year, and the balance sheet remains strong," chairman Julian Paul said.
The firm has been boosted by the price war among console games makers, which has accelerated sales of the units, and of the games designed for them.

Some 30 million Sony PlayStation 2 consoles and 4 million Xbox units have been sold so far.
"This sizeable market is expected to grow further over Christmas and throughout the next two years," the company said.

Games pipeline

Products under development and poised to benefit from the growth include a second Harry Potter game, the Xbox title Kung Fu Chaos, and Malice, which is to be marketed through a tie-up with rock group No Doubt.
Argonaut's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone video game has already proved a bestseller, and was credited for bringing the firm its first profit.
But earnings for the year to July 2003 will be held back by the takeover of mobile phone games specialist Morpheme, Thursday's statement said.
Morpheme, which has a portfolio of 40 games, is developing six new titles for a wireless gaming market forecast by Datamonitor to be worth $6bn in Europe and the US by the end of 2005.
The business is expected to make a positive contribution to profits from Argonaut's 2003-04 financial year.
"Morpheme is a very experienced, highly regarded studio... and will widen Argonaut's product range into the broad-based market of mobile entertainment," Mr Paul said.

City reaction

Thursday's statement sent Argonaut shares down 3.5p, or 13.5%, to 22.5p, their lowest ever closing level.
But analyst Peter Read of Beeson Gregory said the stock remained a "buy".
"Despite the relative ease of entry into the mobile gaming market, the industry is already being dominated by a handful of players," he said.
"Morpheme is one such player and so gives Argonaut a good foothold."

Oh my Gosh i cannot believe school is starting in 8 days! The summer has gone by so quickly! Well, yesterday I went to the school booksale and got my books. Then I decorated my locker! I put in a mirror, notebook pad, and a pen holder. It looks so cute! hehe. Well also I have these cute star magnets that I have holding up pictures of me and my friends along with some Harry Potter pictures because I love Harry Potter! Hehe. I also got 3 Harry Potter folders which I really like and stuck them into my binder. Also for more news on wonderful me I am currently helping my friend Britney make a new site called "Potter Interactive" its a site totally dedicated to interaction and its ALL Harry Potter related! I will post on this page when it is done so you can all be sure to check it out! Also as you have noticed I changed the picture above on this page to Hermione. I will be changing the picture every 2 months. The next picture will be in November and it will be a pic that has Harry and another character in the picture and it is a a good pic for the scene of "Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets" because that will be the month it is coming out. Along with chanign the picture I will be changing the quote that from the book that relates to the picture.

The question was easy for these Harry Potter devotees. What object will help you if you've forgotten something? The answer: A rememberall.

"I knew it," Maren Douglas, 8, of Tampa, said with satisfaction.

The occasion was a birthday party at a Borders bookstore in Tampa on Wednesday for Harry Potter, the fictional hero of J.K. Rowling's series of four books. While among the most popular children's books in the country, they also were the most often challenged books in the nation the past three years for their depiction of witchcraft and wizardry, according to the American Library Association.

Last year, a parent tried to have the books banned from Pasco County public school classrooms, which ultimately was unsuccessful. And in Duval County, students first have to get parental permission before checking the books out of the school library.

But on Wednesday, Tampa Bay area parents who brought their children to several Harry birthday events brushed aside such concerns. They made it clear they are part of the silent majority of adults who believe that a little magic isn't enough to negate the wonder of reading and the Harry Potter themes of truth, goodness, love and friendship.

"I think people need to get a life," said Randy Buono, of Tampa, who brought his 8-year-old son to the Borders party. "It's a theme that Hollywood has lived on for a hundred years -- good versus evil."

Three of the Harry Potter books occupy the top three spots on New York Times bestseller list for children's paperbacks. On Tuesday, the publisher released in paperback the fourth book in the series, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

"They play it all the time," Susan Keefer of St. Petersburg said of her three children who were among the 80 who attended the Borders event in Tampa. "They run around the house. They get brooms and run up and down the driveway."

The president of the American Library Association said the wildly popular books are an important way promoting reading.

"Children absolutely delight in them," said Maurice J. Freedman. "There are children who read them over and over again. This is good writing. Kids' vocabularies will be improved and there's a lot of fun to it."

"Reader Michael Beckett has stumbled upon some very interesting information in the UK. It seems Time Warner has been registering trademarks for Harry Potter and in the process, registered what appear to be new book titles. If you go to the UK Patent Office's trademark search and type in "Harry Potter" you will come up with 3 very interesting marks - Harry Potter and the Alchemist's Cell, Harry Potter and the Pyramids of Furmat, and Harry Potter and the Chariots of Light . Ironically, these were all registered 4/26/2000 - J.K. Rowling didn't let the title of her next book, "Order of the Phoenix" slip until last October. So were these just a ruse to throw fans off track? Or will two of these titles be used for books 6 and 7?"

Book 5 Release?

There is a facttory thatprinted a lot of Book 4 a while back. Anyway, a man said who works in the cover section of the factory, and he said that he's been working on a new Harry Potter book. Now, it could be some other book (possibly one about the movie?), but he says that it is the next book in the series, and the cover looks similar to the first 4. He also said that it is set to come out sometime in November, which conflicts with what we've heard lately, that it won't come out until July 2002. The factory will print 350,000 books, which is a lot, but not nearly enough for the entire country, so the book would probably printed in a bunch of different places."

So, does this mean we get an early Christmas and get book 5 early? Maybe. I guess we won't know until their's an official statement by Scholastic or Ms. Rowling.

MISTAKE IN BOOK TWO!:

The other night I was rereading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and I came across a mistake. It is about Ginney. --->

In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on page 323 Ginney says "Im going to be expelled! Ive looked forward to coming here ever since Bill came and now I'll have to leave amd-What will mom and Dad say?". But how could Ginney have wanted to go to Hogwarts ever since Bill came since clearly Bill went to school atleast 9 years before meaning Ginney could have been 2 years old or younger. We know this because we know Bill and Charlie have already graduated Hogwarts. Charlie who is the second oldest had to have graduated atleast 8 years ago because when Harry came to hogwarts he had already graduated from Hogwarts. So since Ginney is 11 now how could she have been smart enough when she was 2 to understand what Hogwarts was and even that she was a witch. She couldn't have possibley understoud all of this when she was so young. I mean she was a baby!

I just was reading and when she said how she had wanted to go ever since Bill went I was like I wonder how old she could have been. I did the math and was like OK there is something wrong her...

In the 3° book, Prof. Trelaney saw Sirius, not the Grimm, but in the book 4, she could have been right, but Harry could be changing hes future, like what happened in book 1, where the centaurs predicted that Harry would die,but he changed it.
Prof. Trelanwey could be right at the end but Harry changes his future!!

What year?
About the dates missunderstanding (the book one takes place in 1990 or 1991) I have a new data:
In book 3, Porf. Trelanwey says to Lavernder Brown: What U R most affraid of will Happen on FRIDAY OCTOBER 16°. Ocotober 16° is a Friday on 1992!?!

NEWS: I have heard from about 75 fans today that here has been a release date set for the 5th book: June 3, 2003. I will not confirm this as an official announcement until we hear from Bloomsbury or Scholastic... but we are getting closer! This rumor has appeared on two popular HP fan sites and apparently came from a British radio broadcast. More news when we have it!

A fake Harry Potter book portraying our hero as a fat hairy dwarf has gone on sale in China and become an instant hit. According to a report in The Times newspaper, the book - Harry Potter and Leopard Walk Up to Dragon, is selling in Beijing street markets for one pound.

The book sees the young wizard stripped of his powers as he battles the forces of evil shaped as a dragon.

Characters from the real Potter books have been brought back to life and new ones created.

It's been written by an anonymous Chinese author, but has JK Rowling's name on the front cover.

The Times says JK Rowling's agency is investigating the book.

A spokesman said: "We take this issue extremely seriously and are looking into the matter urgently."

Harry Potter and Leopard Walk Up to Dragon begins: "Harry doesn't know how long it will take to wash the sticky cream cake off his face."

The People's Publishing House, who own the copyright to the Chinese book, said the writer had also used a photograph of JK Rowling.
