WIZARD ITEMS
Brooms- The common way of getting around for all wizards and witches alike. They're both reliable and fast. They've been used for thousands of years in wizarding history and are the main means of travel for Quidditch players of the highly-popular sport.
Cauldrons- This is the main kind of container that is used, instead of beakers, etc. to mix potions. They can be durable and come in variations of sizes and material (stone, copper, etc.)
Floo Powder- Floo Powder is both an item and a way of transportation. You simply throw some of the powder into a roaring fire, step inside (unharmed), yell out the location of where you're going an poof!, you're there. Floo Powder is also very handy to use.
Howler- One of the only things that many young wizards and witches fear the most—receiving a Howler by Owl Post. A Howler is basically a red envelope, which actually moves (like everything else in the wizarding world), as if it had a breathing life of its own. An angry vocal message is bellowed from a family member or friends that is contained inside. But you must remember to always open it exactly when you get it, because if you don't, it'll eventually explode!
Portkeys- A smart way of getting around, Portkeys are objects that can appear in any form such as a shoe and transport a wizard from one location to another. They are placed strategically around Britain as well as other places to prevent Muggles from seeing anyone appearing out of thin air, and for easy navigation.
Remembrall- A remembrall is a small clear ball that has smoke inside. Whoever is holding the remembrall will look at the smoke inside to see if it turns red. If it does turn red it will mean that the holder has forgotten something.
Spellotape- Magical tape that repairs most objects to a point, where it looks as if the object was never broken or damaged.
Wands- Wands are the key instrument used by wizards and witches to conjure up spells of different uses. There is no other specific instrument that can be used to conjure spells, other than a wand, unless the wizard or witch is very powerful or knowledgeable enough to know how to do it.
