welcome to: www.loco-sounds.com
Please switch on your speakers and listen to the class 37 sound. We call them the -Highland Dinos-.

The "real" British class 66/67 horn sounds are ready for download NOW.

These are original recordings [ MD and DAT ] made at Crianlarich and Tyndrum Upper

on the Scottish West Highland Line. "ESU ready"!

Why not also listen to some of hp's mp3 class 37 recordings?

Class 26, 37, and 156 "ESU ready" sounds are no longer downloadable, because of the lack of response from readers.

The ESU lok-programmer in version 2.6.6 seems to be ok now, after many years of software trouble and the endless, nearly weekly, updates since the introduction in September 2004 !

Unfortunately ESU is not doing any British locos on their decoders yet.

As a German, liking the sound of the British diesel electrics , also on my railway layout, I sound- recorded two classes of diesel electrics and the class 156 sprinter in Scotland so far.

-The class 26 at the Strathspey Railway in Boat of Garten and Broomhill.

- Several classes 37 on the "Royal Scotsman" and on the "Caledonian Sleeper" at Ardlui - Crianlarich -Tyndrum Upper -Tyndrum Lower and Fort William in spring 2002.

For downloads of the class 37 sounds, details about the sound modules, what they look like and how I fitted them into a class 26 and 37 etc.-- Link cancelled, please see below.

Now also ready, the sounds around the class 156 Sprinters recorded in and around Oban, link also cancelled.

Due to a lack of "response" the class 26, 37 and 156 sounds are no longer downloadable.

Someone mailed me recently complaining that the sound of the horn in the ESU decoder of the Class 66 obviously was just not right. So I recorded the English class 66/67 horn sounds and will make them available for private use only at around the beginning of July 2005.

Please here for the downloads of the British class 66/67 horn sounds .

Please here for some of hp's [ robinright] class 37 recordings as well as some steam [coming in soon]recordings.
