The Hogwarts caretaker who is a squib and is constantly raging a war againt the students. He is an enemy to Harry as well as the other students. He likes nothing more than punishing students, which he has the opportunity to do often, as he knows the secret passageways of the school extremely well and "could pop up as suddenly as any of the ghosts."
