Harry's godfather. Was framed by Peter Pettigrew for killing 13 people with one curse. Was in Azkaban for 13 years. Got himself out in book 3. Was unable to get his named cleared when Peter escaped. In book 5 Sirius was unforunately killed by Bellatrix Lestrange.
