The vestibular contest is characterized normally as a test to measure the knowledge acquired in basic and average education, being the main access environment to superior education in Brazil. It is the criterion of election of candidates preferred by the public institutions of superior education, while that the use of alternative ways of access is promoted in general by private institutions.
The vestibular contest is the model of election constantly criticized by specialists, either even so still most accepted in all the country.
