There are so many places we would like to go. The places we once have been, the places where we have been happy, the places we have never been...

My grand grandfather was fond of traveling. His name was Grigor. People called him moukhsi because the last years of his life he escorted Armenian pilgrims to Jerusalem. He studied in Germany at the end of the last century and he spoke the languages of all the countries they were passing through. That was a rather long journey in camels, commenced in spring and ended in the next year's autumn.

Usually, the last time a moukhsi goes to pilgrimage he has to take only one young person with him, to teach him the route, languages and habits of foreigners. And when that last time came, he chose his grandson - my grandfather who was only seven years old. Maybe because of that experience my grandpa used to say that everyone has a place he wishes to go, but once he is there, he knows that there is only one place in the world worthwhile traveling, and that place is his home.

Unlike my old folks, I haven't been to Jerusalem jet, neither I have been much abroad as a tourist: my travelings were for study, I participated in seminars and workshops, invited by USTTI, I went for a training to the USA, where I worked and studied at the Channel 39, KHTV in Houston, TX and Paramount Pictures (Hollywood, CA.)

Here are the links to my places. First of all, you can get here some information about Armenia, my home country, which is currently undergoing remarkable changes (as you can see, even the map has become outdated because the cities are now called differently).

These pages aren't made by me. However, you can read what other people wrote about my work. I hope you will also enjoy your stay as I did.
