Chaos is the backbone of my art; because, it is interesting to me that the human mind always finds a pattern in the chaos. Congruency may form and then disappear within an instant. My art is a splice; a picture of the moving chaos that our minds fight, to hold a sense of order. So, I suppose you could say that I paint both chaos and law. Even though I only paint chaos- because chaos cannot exist without law, for what reason would law have without chaos? Would shadow exist without light? If the whole world was shadow, what would make the shadow, but the absence of light. If light never existed, where would the shadow go? You see, one opposite cannot be with out its counterpart; otherwise the world would be incomplete. This truth is echoed through every emotion and every observation you can imagine. If, the world was incomplete, how would we know that it was indeed incomplete, without a complete world to compare it to? I ask many questions, though in each question there is an answer within itself. Just as there is a truth behind every lie. Ask yourself a question instead of asking others, for in asking a question, you have conjured up an answer. Just as progress is made by not accepting things as they are in present. This is because the world, indeed the whole universe is what you make of it. In that last sentence, is the "meaning of life"! Because, the world is a subjective place, the more you try to objectify it, the more it becomes subjective, who is doing the objectifying- you are. Really, there is only one thing, and that one thing is consciousness, and consciousness is god; but this is something that you will have to find out yourself. So, what is my art? You may look at it and see profound objects of perception; then, look more deeply and you perceive the more subtle things. My art is an arrangement of consciousness, because the only true medium the artist uses is consciousness; and, without consciousness, art would not be appreciated.
