NAME ORNAMENTS

Use Terra Cotta Paint Pens to write the name and to paint the decoration you wish on the ball.
Use Dimensional Fabric and Craft Paint Pen to make the glitter snow flakes.
Add a ribbon to hang ball.

FAUX STAIN GLASS ORNAMENT

Materials

  • Clear Glass Ornament
  • Black Leading Strips or Liquid Leading to make your own strips
  • Stain glass paint (Gallery Glass)

    Directions

    Place the leading strips onto the glass ball in a random pattern.

    Add the stain glass paint (colors of your choice) in the spaces created by your pattern.

    Hint: Use an empty egg carton to hold the ball in place and do one section at a time and let dry before moving onto the next section.

    Add a dab of liquid leading to all the corner of your design, this makes it look like real stain glass.

    This effect is great. It makes a wonderful hostess gift for any Christmas party.

    CHRISTMAS PAINTED BALL ORNAMENT

    Materials

    • Clear glass ball ornament
    • Acrylic Paint (in desired colors)
    • Ribbon for hanger
    • Trim (bows, flowers, pearls)

      Directions

      Remove the hanger top of the glass ornament.

      With about 3 different colors of paint, start by pouring in one color, to the inside of the ball, then the next color and so on around the ball.

      Now using an empty egg carton, lay the ball on it side, then turn it after a short time to the other side and finally turn it upside down on the egg carton, so the excess paint will run out into the egg carton. Leave over night, now turn the ball right side up and let dry for a few hours. Replace the top and add the ribbon to hang the ball and decorate with any trim you desire.

      option: you can also use some gold foiling on the outside of the ball, or paint on some paint snow in the form of stars or a name. The effect you get with each ball will be different each time, each is an original.

      RHINESTONE ORNAMENT

      Materials

    • Gold Christmas Ball
    • Polymark Dimensional Paint Pen (White Sparkling)
    • Packages of different sizes of Rhinestones with flat backs
    • Tacky glue
    • Snow paint (optional)

      Directions

      Apply the dimensional paint in what ever pattern you wish around the ball. Let dry.

      With tacky glue add the rhinestones. (see pictures for examples)

      Elegant and unusual.
