Paint the candle cup with Flesh color paint. While it is drying, make 10 loops with the cording (to the desired length you want). Wrap and elastic around a short way from the top. Take the narrow cording and put it through the loops and then through the hole in the candle cup. Make sure the loops are inside securely. Cut the bottom loops of the cording. Now unravel each of the cording pieces.
Cut a piece of 2-1/2 in. lace to about 12 in. and glue this to the indent on the candle cup, gathering as you go..
Glue the narrow trim around the top of the candle cup, for the halo.
Now paint on your angels face.
Using a narrow piece of wire or needle and thread, gather the 1-1/2 in lace, cut to about 11 in. long. After gathering form into a circle and knot off. Attach this to the back of the candle cup, for wings.
She is now done.
These are great to give to friends in the hospital, housewarmings, etc. With a note that says "Let this Angel watch over you."
