HUMANITIES
the branches of learning (as philosophy, arts, or languages) that investigate human constructs and concerns as opposed to natural processes (as in physics or chemistry) and social relations (as in anthropology or economics)

HISTORY
a chronological record of significant events (as affecting a nation or institution) often including an explanation of their causes

ART
the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects

LITERATURE

SOCIETY

ANALYSIS

The similarities between the definitions are focused on the relationship of human beings with one another and their surroundings and the effects that these events have individually and globally.   In contrast, their differences define components of how we think, relate, evaluate, act, and interpret, things, circumstances, customs, and people.
