Process
The famous typographer/designer I
researched on is Paul Rand, who did designs for book covers,
children books, annual reports, and of all, corporate logos. I was
fascinated at his process of making logos, how he used his
'problem-solving' method to create an identity for a company where
functionality meets art. Using his designing process, I moves on to
create my own logo.
Week 1 & 2 - Began research on Paul Rand's background, contributions,
style, and designs. Obtain information from the school library and
websites.
Week 3 - Researches shown to tutor.
Asked to do more in-depth research on logo designs.
