| Bromfield Camera and the shop next to them both have a lot of equipment, but you have to haggle a lot. Bromfield Street, Downtown Crossing. I must have bought at least a dozen cameras from them, but only used ones. Their new equipment prices are terrible, but you can get excellent values on used equipment. (617) 426-5230 SBI Sales in Harvard Square has less selection, and they're owned by Hunt, now. (617) 576-0969. their Boston location is closer to your home and has a better selection, but call ahead: (617) 542-0077. I have some professional printing done there. Ferrante-Dege is not bad. If there's anything I recommend them for, it might be for the used equipment section. Not big, but not small. (617) 499-2750 I gave Cameras Inc. a call. They don't have much selection. By the way, other than online, I get most of my new equipment from the Hunt Photo Show at the World Trade Center. Excellent prices -- especially for accessories that don't get discounted often, like filters, straps, batteries, cleaning supplies, less popular lenses and high-power strobes/flashes. | |||||||||||||||
