***We've used FRI in Arlington. (Feinmann Remodeling, Inc.) very pleased with their work. kept to schedule, was up front about potential problem areas/complications, introduced us & met jointly with us & cabinetry sub, masonry sub, electrician sub, plumbing sub, painting sub. (we had no voice in what subs to contract to, though, which wasn't unexpected). They have worked extensively in Arl, Winc. Belmont, Newton, etc. & have participated @ New England Home show, & been interviewed on Channel 4 News as to "what to look for in a remodeling contractor". They carry all the appropriate industry & trade certifications & memberships.

"M" works on his own, so his prices are low. He has high integrity. His telephone number is 7816413408. *** Peter Feinmann is an old friend, a talented kitchen specialist (designer and contractor) and a totally reliable, honest, terrific guy. His phone in Arlington is: 7816485567 (may be his home #, but it will get you started). Please tell him you heard it from me. *** We were extremely happy with Don MacArthur of Watertown. Our job was a major renovation, involving every part of the house. He is little bit expensive but very honest, reliable. He has about 30 years of experience working in this area. His number is 9264440 9/98 ***For that sort of work (including finishing half of our basement about 15 years ago) we've used Daigle Construction. John Daigle started out in Sudbury, but he's based in Ashland (I think) now. Excellent craftsman and very responsible, though perhaps a bit more expensive than some. Over the years he has done a lot of work for us. I can bring in the phone number 10/98 ***Mike DiNicola has done a number of jobs for me: replacing the bulkhead in a two family house; replacing the back porch on the same two family house; replacing lights; installing fans.
