Before you vote this year ask yourself these questions

How is Bush responsible for people losing jobs or being hired? Last time I checked, you couldn't write a letter of complaint to the White House and have the president give you a job because you were without work .

How is Bush responsible for the economy? Last time I checked, PRIVATE BUSINESSES and CONSUMERS, NOT the government, were responsible for our nation’s wealth. What's he supposed to do, buy a bunch of stuff to boost the economy?

Why is Bush considered a liar for receiving legitimate information from his intelligence and making a long, informed decision about going into Iraq? Last time I checked, the U.S. gave Saddam over TWO YEARS to reveal that he had no weapons of mass destruction, while he would not allow inspectors to investigate. Is that not ample time to hide his weapons in another country (Syria)?

John Edwards, John Kerry’s running mate, has made these statements:

The Bush Administration miscalculated by rushing to war without a plan for the peace.

A) The Bush Administration went to war FOR peace. Why do you think we fought in WWI or WWII? I don’t think offering Hitler a peace treaty would have done us much good, and neither would sitting on our laurels while Saddam built up weapons of mass destruction have done us any.

The Bush Administration miscalculated by deciding to go it alone without strong allies.

A) It’s as simple as this; America stands for itself. There is a difference between us and other nations. We fight for what is best for our country and for our national security, we do not fight or not fight because of what other nations feel.

The Bush Administration miscalculated when they waited three years after September 11th to start to reform our intelligence.

A) This is disgusting. Do you think anyone was expecting September 11th? Certainly, there were vague pieces of information as identified by the September 11th committee, but when it came it was a shock to everyone. To take the right course of action one must make an informed decision based on careful research. Simply reforming the intelligence immediately would have resulted in a LOSS of intelligence because of the re-structuring, and would have hurt more than benefit us.

The Bush Administration miscalculated by turning its back on Afghanistan.

A) We are still in Afghanistan, still searching for the remaining members of Al-Quida. While it may not be in the news every day, we still have troops there. Don’t lie.

The Bush Administration miscalculated by standing on the sidelines while North Korea and Iran advanced their nuclear programs.

A) I see. So now you are saying we should have gone after all of these countries at once? What’s that you said before about Bush misleading us about weapons in Iraq? Do you think that you Democrats would have responded any differently if Bush had made attempts to stop nuclear weapons productions in Iran? That’s what I thought.

Some parting words: flip-flop. Need I say more?
