Things had change much since I left.” Adela said “I think the more crucial matter is that why did it attack Kari but not the rest of the party? Iris recognized the item “It’s an Osirismon’s Cross. He’s the digi-god of the underworld in the Kingdoms of South. He was killed by his own brother Setmon. But his spirit was preserved by Isismon, His Digi-god wife, in four pieces of ceremonial items. Osirismon’s cross is one of them. Isismon give them to Major digi-gods of four domains, each to Jade Emperormon of the Eastern Empires, Odinmon of the North Clans, Zeusmon of the Kingdoms of West, and one to Ramon of their own domain. I wonder how Hadesmon got hold of it?” “If Osirismon is dead, what good is pieces of his spirit, man?” Duke asks “If all four pieces were salvaged, with proper priest to do a special ceremony, Osirismon would live again. Only he has the power to restrain Setmon.” “Zeusmon did mention that Setmon was the evil digi-gods of south and he too desires for the return of Kronosmon...” Kari said “I’m more worried about the matter of Hadesmon getting hold of Osirismon’s cross. As far as we know, Poseidonmon seems to have a friendly relationship with Hadesmon, and he, as Zeusmon’s brother, would have had easy access to the one ceremonial item Zeusmon is guarding. I do not understand the whole of the situation,” Matt look at the rest of the party “But I suspects that Poseidonmon might not be on our side.”

I’ll bet this one is a minion of Hadesmon.” Adela said. Matt reach for his digi-vice “The dead stand ready!!” with in a flash of light, the black jackal Anubitemon descends from the sky ship and knock the Minotaurmon cold “Thank you!!” Mushroomon gasp for air while thanking his savior “Our town was under...(gasp) attack this...(gasp) mourning, they took...(gasp) prisoners to a near by cave...(gasp) and started burning ...(gasp)everything!! And threaten to kill every one...(gasp)!!...I tried to sneak away to find help, but if it weren’t for you, I would’ve been made into a bowl of mushroom soup!! Please, mighty heros! Can you help my people?” Anubitemon called for the Sky ship to set course for the ravaged town, then he replies to Mushroomon “Yes, I will help you. Get in to the ship, you’ll be safer in there then out on this open-plain.” Anubitemon calls out to the ship “Get him on board! The wind goes against me and the grass entangles my foot, but I should be able to make it to the town just in time.”

“I will enjoy this...” the leader of Minotaurmons snickered as he ready his axe “You’ll not get away with this!” A Cherrymon, tied up by thick ropes, shouted “Marauders can get away with anything!!” The Minotaurmon Chieftain raised is axe to a satisfying height, then with all his might, swing his axe on to Cherrymon. As Cherrymon closed his eyes and accepted his fate, A golden lighting clashes with the great axe of the chieftain and knocks it out of his hand. “This area is officially a no-cut zone.” The black jackal stands upon one of the roof top of a burning house “Do you dare challenge ME!? Great Chieftain of the Minotaurmon Marauders will accept your challenge, Black Dog!!” Minotaurmon picked up his great axe and throws it at Anubitemon, who simply jump on to another building “Quite an ego you got there, Cow-face. By the way, I’m a jackal, not a dog. if you’re going to insult me, do it properly.” with that, Anubitemon leaps high in the air and lands heavily on the bull-face of Minotaurmon. The bull face bolt back and pain “Areghh!! You will pay for this, DOG!! AXE!!!” Minotaurmon takes another axe from one of his marauders, and swing away on Anubitemon, who simply dodges his powerful but slow attacks “Aw~, little jackal too fast for mother cow~?” Anubitemon mocked the bull face giant “laugh while you can, Dog!” Minotaurmon hold up his berserk axe attack “In the name of the All-Father! Pulverize!!” Minotaurmon look sharply in to Anubitemon’s Eyes, and charge with his bull-horn “I...Can’t move!?” Anubitemon was struck with incredible impact which sends him flying. The marauders cheered with great frenzy while their leader walk up to the black jackal in triumph and stomp on him with his hoof. “No one can resist the power of the All-Father!!”

The others can only watch while Minotaurmon trample Anubitemon. “My god, Make him stop!!” Sora cried “how do you suppose we do that?” Adela ask with hopelessness “There’s got to be something we can do!“ But there is nothing they can do, they feeling of hopelessness rush over the party.

Minotaurmon, surprised at his own action, turned around and face Kari “Leave now and never comes back.” She demanded, Minotaurmon snap out of his confusion and laughed “And I supposed, little one, you’re going to make me!? Ah-ha~ha~ha~ha~ha!!! NOT even mighty heros and monsters of old can defeat me! In the vanishing lights, a female worrier of silver Greek armors stands with grace. Minotaurmon was stunned at the beauty of Amazonmon, the women worrier of Kari’s patron Digi-goddess Athenamon.

Kari, as Amazonmon, found something she had forgotten long time ago. Her innocence, her hope, and her power as a digi-destined. As Amazonmon, she will reveal light to the darkest places of the world, bring hope to the hopeless, and defeat all evil in the name of Justice. Amazonmon raises her spear and with voice of might and grace, said “Minotaurmon, you have had my warning, but your ego and ignorance will be your doom. your pillages ends here!!” Minotaurmon snaps out of his state of wonder and return to his old ego “Enough talk, I’ll destroy you in the name of the All-Father! Pulverize!!” the eyes of Minotaurmon targets on the lady of the light and with a cry he charges “Foolish being... Shield of Medusa!!” the charge of the bull suddenly comes to a full stop “What trickery is this!?” “Be purify by the light! Star of Orion!” Amazonmon’s spear turned gold and reflects thousands of light beams, stinging the eyes of all who look upon them. The spear was thrown straight into Minotaurmon’s bare chest and into his heart “Have a happy afterlife, Cow-face!” Anubitemon, recovered from Minotaurmon’s impact, gets hold of his golden sickle and cut off Minotaurmon’s head, thus ending his misery. The rest of the marauders scatter in fear.

“Thank you! heroic strangers... our village is saved!” Cherrymon “These brutes came out of nowhere! We were just a simple little village trying to make a living in this world...” “Don’t worried about it, I’m sure they are gone for good.” Athenamon comforts Cherrymon “Now, one of you mentioned that a number of prisoners have been taken away, Where are they?” “They‘ve been taken to a abandoned mine near by, I’ll show you the way!” A Flowermon volunteered

“Our ancestors used to mine great amount of rich minerals from there,” Flowermon explained to the digi-destined “but they dug too deep and too greedily. Deep in the cave, an unnamed evil devoured the entire mining crew. Many who went in to search for them never came back, only a few survived to tell the terrible stories.” Flowermon stopped when the abandoned mine was in sight “I dare not go any further, I suggest you do the same. Those people are dear to us, but we would not want to risk you life to save them.” “Don’t worry! We’ll be back in no time! Digi-dude!” Duke boasted.

With the two digi-worriers leads the way, the party walked for three hours to reach end of the road. Along the way they saw a lot of unnamed gems and metal that shines brighter then gold and silver, but they also saw a lot of petrified digimons looking back in horror “This is not a mine, this is a tomb!” Adela whispers. At the end of the mine, though a twisting little path, an underground city appeared at the end of the path. ”What in the world is that!?” the Duke shouted in wonder. The city was consist of ruined buildings. Instead of water, Lava and molten metals pour from fountains and flows in rivers and streams and canals. walking skeletons and shadow-like-creatures pointlessly walk around in the city. “Welcome. Digi-destined, to Erebus, the Kingdom of Hadesmon.” the digimon that leads the digi-destined to the forest where they fought Elder Cyclopsmon appeared in front of them
