What do i need to get started?

To get started you will need 4 things:

* Editor *
An editor is a place to type in your HTML code so that you can send the file to your Web host.
This can be the editor that comes with your Web space. For example Angelfire, AOL, Geocities, Tripod, Fortunecity and others.
You can also use a plain text editor, like Notepad in Windows.

There are also other editors that you can use that will basically do everything for you, and you don't need to know any HTML at all.
You just drag the images onto your page, and the editor writes the code for you. For example Microsoft Frontpage. This is the program which I use to create my websites.
For more information about Microsoft Frontpage click here.

* Web space *
Webspace is the place where they host your page (a place on the internet where you save your site). You need this so that other people can view your Website.
It's very important to find a good web host. For more information, names and places where you can go, click here

* Graphics *
A site without graphics isn't beautiful. You can add your own style to your site if you use the graphics you like.
You can find some links to sites where they offer free graphics by clicking here
You can also make your own graphics. This makes your site original. It makes it a special place on the net. For more information on making your own graphics you can click here.

* Ideas *
 You need to come up with something original to make a really great site, something that no one else has done before. You have to be sure that your site is interesting for other people. That's why I have so much things on my site, there is something for everyone. Coming up with something on your own will help you get lots of visitors.
 Being original is definitely the key!!
