ANTS
I was so angry when I found those ants trying to steal my cookies away
from my desk. I decided to drown(溺水) them instead of(替代) just crushing(壓碎)
them. Then I got myself a bowl(碗) of water and put those ants in. I saw how they tried
to survive(求生), yet I was not happy, and suddenly a feeling of
sadness(悲傷) came to me. Wasn't I like those ants that my life
seemed to be so trifle(渺小) to God(上帝) or whatever, because they
could take my life away anytime and anywhere, just like I took those ants'.
Thinking of this, I lifted(提起) those ants up. "Go away, you ants. Though you
are so trivial, you should still enjoy your lives. No one has any right to take
your lives." Thus(因而)I spoke to my creator(造物者), if there were one, that I
didn't expect(期待) eternity(永恆), but I just wanted him to
be a little kinder to me.
