Dear
David,
Jan.
17, 1995
I loved reading your letter. Although we have never met before, I'm
glad to become a friend of you. Now, let me tell you something about
myself(我自己).
I'm sixteen and my sister is two years younger than me. We are living with
our parents now.
I was born in a big city, but I don't like city life at all. Life
in a big city is, of course, more convenient because there are many
department stores and good restaurants. However, there are too many people and the street is too noisy.
Water is dirty and there isn't enough fresh(新鮮的) air. So I often visit the country on the
weekend. I like camping, and I'm happy that you like it, too. Last Saturday, our family
camped in a big forest(森林) and we had a good time there.
October is coming. It's getting cooler here in New York. Is it
still hot in Taiwan? I hope to hear from you soon.
Your friend,
Jill |
