The Lonely(寂寞的) Farmer

      A long time ago, there was a selfish(自私的) farmer who had a very beautiful garden. In the garden, there were many beautiful flowers and all kinds of fruits. The selfish farmer didn't want to share(分享) this garden with anyone else, so he built a great wall around it.

      "I will kill any one who would come near my garden," the farmer said to himself. And

indeed, no people or animals dared to do so. But as days gone by, the farmer didn't feel happy. He was very lonely. With no one to talk to, the farmer found that his garden didn't look beautiful any more. So he took away the great wall around the garden and invited others to his garden. No one came. Yes, they were all afraid of being killed by the selfish farmer. The farmer didn't understand why no one came. So the selfish farmer became the loneliest farmer.
