David, Angelica and Jennifer had an opportunity to volunteer for a cell phone commercial and they took it! A friend from our church was filming the commercial at church and needed kids to serve as extras - so the kids walked back and forth all day and learned that it takes a LOT of work to make a 30 second commercial! = - )

The day began at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. We all gathered in the fellowship hall at our church to find out what we would be doing and then the filming began. The first scenes were filmed outside and David walked back and forth about 25 times for this scene.

Jennifer and Angelica stood around during the first scene and did a good job looking like they were deeply involved in conversation.

This is a full view of the same scene from the above pictures (Kathy even stood in as an extra on this shot) and then they needed a parking lot scene and our van even got in on the act!

Just before lunch the filming moved indoors for the classroom and hallway scenes. David was able to act bored in the classroom scene and then all 3 kids walked the hall for a few hours to film the hallway scene. In the midst of all the filming the kids had lots of fun taking breaks and hanging out with friends.

The star of the commercial was Stacie! Stacie is from our church and she did a GREAT job!

The final shot was the "Boba Tea Shot" and everyone cheered when it was finished because then we could all enjoy Boba Tea as a reward for a LONG days work - 13 hours! = - )
