The Hubbard Family wishes you a very happy new year in 2003!!
The tradition continues and we once again began the new year on Colorado Blvd. at 5:00 a.m. The kids played their new game boys, we watched the fly-over and Matthew showed off his first missing tooth.

This year the Chow family and part of the Wu family joined us to watch the 114th Rose Parade!

A few of our favorite pictures from the parade.

After we came home from the parade we began our annual family scrabble tournament. The pictures show rounds 1 and 2; the semi-final round and then the champion - Phillip! He only beat Kathy by 1 point!!!!!!!

Jennifer and David enjoyed a final Christmas vacation Life game and Matthew pulled out another tooth!

Last night was a VERY windy night! This is the result - 29 power poles came crashing down a mile from our house. We could see the transformers lighting up the sky each time they fell. We lost power a couple of times during the night, but it came back on quickly. The good news is that no one was hurt.

Angelica and Jennifer graduated from the DARE Program the other night.

The weather has been SO HOT here lately! We are thinking of all of you in other parts of the country where it isn't and we feel for you. We have been enjoying record heat for January and the plants are all confused (they think it is spring!)

Jennifer and Angelica received their sports awards at a Winter Awards Breakfast.

Matthew is taking a gymnastics class and loving it!

Toby and Tigger love to explore the neighborhood, but we want them to stay closer to home so Toby decided the roof was a good place to hang out.

David had his first middle school band concert and as soon as it was over he took off his tie before I had time to get a picture!
