Grandma Marianne was surprised at her 74th birthday party and this time the birthday cake was a bunch of delicious brownies with ice cream!
Our church youth group hosted an outreach to the neighborhood and as you can see there was a lot to do (that's David on the left in the sumo wrestling costume).
David volunteered for the dunk tank and was dunked quite a few times!
The girls and Matthew enjoyed several trips up the rock wall.
On Sunday, March 6th, we again participated in the LA Marathon to raise money for the foster care agency we support.
This year we had over 25 people from our church on the team (not all were able to come for the group picture), we enjoyed seeing the running gorillas at the marathon (supposedly they ran the whole 26.2 miles in their costumes) and our family ran/walked the 5K (Angelica ran it in 26 minutes, David 38 minutes and the rest of us walked it in an hour). It was SO much easier this year, but now David and Angelica want to do the whole marathon next year - so I guess we'll do the whole thing again in 2006!
David was asked to be an escort for the 8th grade models at a fashion show fundraiser for his middle school - first time to wear a tux!
The girls were beautiful and David looked pretty handsome, too (in Mom's humble opinion).
The Sunday School kids sang in church for Palm Sunday and then in SS we learned how Jesus came into Jerusalem.
The kids LOVED the palm branch path! = - )
The Colorado Hubbards are here for a few days before they leave for Hawaii and cousin Keith and son Daniel came for a visit from North Carolina. Doug and Matthew joined them on a trip to Lego Land! = - )
The 2 cousins have been having a GREAT time together!
