Our kittens are growing up and they just celebrated their 1st birthday! The enjoyed their first taste of canned cat food and they LOVED it! Toby could hardly get enough of it and Tigger was standing on his hind legs to get every last drop.

Toby and Tigger did NOT love their birthday hats!

They did enjoy the birthday cards from their great grandma, great grandpa, great uncle and their biological mother. They also received one gift each (9 Lives Sliced Chicken and Gravy).

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo at Dodger Stadium with the American Baptist Churches of LA!

The game ended with fireworks! Angelica and Matthew enjoyed them, but it looks like Doug needs a nap! = - )

Happy Mother's Day to me! I took the traditional "mom and kids" picture, but first I had to pick some trapped food out of David's braces. = - ) This is the first year that David is taller than me - he is 5'8 now and only 12 years old! We went to San Diego after church and had lunch at our favorite Chinese Restaurant.

The reason we went down to San Diego was to attend the Billy Graham Mission. He is a true man of God and we were also blessed by the testimony of Evelyn Husband (widow of Space Shuttle Commander, Rick Husband).

It was an inspirational event in Qualcomm Stadium!

Angelica and Jennifer are finishing up the softball season. Their team made it to the play-offs, but sadly lost in the final inning.

The lunar eclipse was fun to watch and I had an educational experience learning to take pictures in the dark (tripods are great!)

Angelica and Jennifer had their spring band concert this month.
Doug's college friend, David Jih, came for a visit from Thailand. They enjoyed looking at their old college yearbooks!

The Spring Recital was a musical success. Three played the piano and one played his guitar.
