Angelica and Jennifer went to a taping of the American Idol results show - the one where Constantine was voted out. If you look very carefully you can see Jennifer over Simon's shoulder (she's wearing a light blue jacket) and Angelica is right behind her (she's brushing her hair back). They had an AWESOME experience!!! = - ) We celebrated Cinco de Mayo a few days early at the Dodger game - woo hoo, the Dodgers beat the Rockies! The game was fun because it was a church event and we saw lots of friends - Matthew had a great time with Janessa and then we all watched the fireworks explode to Mexican music. Our 2 grandcats celebrated their 3rd birthdays. Toby and Tigger enjoyed a wet catfood treat (usually they only get dry catfood) and then the parents and grandparents celebrated with a chocolate cake. Angelica and Melissa sang, "Friend" by Kaitlyn and did a GREAT job! We were so proud and could hardly believe that was our super shy daughter up on the stage! = - ) Happy Mother's Day to me! We went to Universal Studios, Tigger brought home an extra special present for me and a squirrel even came up to the front porch for a visit. It was an exciting Mother's Day! Enjoy! Doug took David and a few of his friends to the Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith premiere at MIDNIGHT! They had a great time, loved the movie and even survived school the next day. The mall sold out 11 theaters for the 12:00 and 12:15 a.m. showings and Matthew even got into the act...at home. He'll wait for the DVD version. We had a Children's and Youth Ministry Fair at church and signed up lots of potential teachers and volunteers. In Sunday School we built a Temple - each child placed a block in place to build the wall.
