We enjoyed 2 trips to the beach during Labor Day weekend. Our visit to Zuma Beach in Malibu was great! We saw flying commercials for the new Survivor and best of all a group of dolphins decided to swim right next to the shore - they were amazing! Woo hoo!! The 1st day of school! Doug and Kathy are celebrating and even the kids were happy to get back to a regular routine - mostly happy to see their friends and not happy about the homework. David is an 8th grader, the girls are in 7th and Matthew started 1st grade. A few days later Doug celebrated #44 and since we didn't have candles we tried using matches and weren't fast enough 'cause we all know that matches don't burn long! = - ) We visited the Getty Center Museum on Saturday. It's an amazing place and even though our kids weren't excited to go they had a fun time looking for specific works of art in the different galleries.
