David began high school this year and with that came his first band camp. All 350 band members practiced day and night for one week in the mountains near Palm Springs - can't wait to see the first field show at the Friday night football game! Two years ago we visited New Orleans and Biloxi during our 2 month driving trip to the east coast - you can click the Louisiana welcome sign and see our pics from July 2003. It's very difficult to see so many people in so much pain now because of Katrina and our prayers are with the people of the Gulf Coast. We decided to spend the Labor Day holiday at Huntington Beach. Phillip and his girlfriend, Bobbi, were able to join us for a day at the beach. Woo Hoo! 1st day of school - for David it's his freshman year at high school and for Angelica and Jennifer it's 8th grade where they are WEB (Welcome Every Body) Leaders for the little 6th graders. Matthew is a happy 2nd grader and has a GREAT teacher this year!! = - ) Doug celebrated his 45th birthday and David began his high school marching band career.
